The genre-divining sequel is finally here.

Divinity: Original Sin 2, is now available in its full glory, DRM-free on GOG.com.
After captivating players throughout its In Development cycle, the ambitious sequel to the critically-acclaimed turn-based RPG is now about to reach new heights. Combining deep pen-and-paper design philosophy with modern-day enhancements it offers a vast world rich in choice and dialogue, innovative 4-player co-op mode, flexible character creation, a powerful Game Master Mode, and of course the chance to meet Eithne, the community-inspired GOG.com hero.

For more godlike goodies, go for the Divine Edition, which includes a Digital Artbook, a Lorebook, a Map, the Soundtrack, a digital Art Pack and a Making-of video. If you don't want to commit just yet, you can always upgrade later.
Newcomers to the Divinity universe might want to go for the Eternal Edition: on top of the Divine Edition's contents, this pack also includes Divine Divinity, Divinity 2: Developer's Cut, Divinity: Original Sin + Design Documents, an Art Pack and the OST for that game.

Watch the trailer.

So far i have the Divinity Anthology pack on dvd and Divinity: Original Sin EE here on GoG, as well as Divinity: Dragon Commander. I wonder now which version i should get; GoG version or Steam. Which one has more support. Cause i read about problems here on GoG and steam doesn't have those, well aside from the language thing.
Is D:OS 2 here on GoG receiving lesser support then the steam version?

MightyPinecone: Have you missed the 'Quit Your Job' upgrade path? It gives you lots of time, but sadly, it's prohibitively expensive. Most prefer to save the money and grind for the 'Things I'll Do When I'm Retired' free upgrade.
Unfortunately, it's a gamble. It seems there's a bug in the backend, licenses to the Life(TM) software sometimes get permanently disabled before the free upgrade can be applied.

GOG.com: full glory ... on GOG.com.
Hi GOG.
I'm really fond of your policies guys, you are great in every way, and i agitated my friends to buy Divinity on GOG instead of steam, and half of them listened.
But we are from Russia, and there is no translation to Russian now. My friends who bought game on steam now get BETA-translation, but me and other GOG people - not. Is there a way we can get it?
Please, i'm really need this beta-translation.
Cause friends are complaining now and i feel myself kind of embarrassed to lead them to GOG :(

So I've heard, and to make matters worse the developer is stonewalling and has yet to release so much as a hotfix. Luckily the community has come together to develop a series of unofficial patches. Personally I recommend Western Medicine, as it more or less removes some of the more egregious bugs, such as the immediate termination of an account upon creation. Sadly, this mod is a real resource hog, but what can one expect modders to do without access to the source code?
Is GOG still working on sorting out the discrepancy issue between Kickstarter backed versions and the releases here?

I'm actually pretty close to completing this one, although it does have a downside in that the further you progress, the more loot ends up in your Bottomless Backlog Stash.

Unfortunately in the United States, access to the Western Medicine mod is restricted in favor of an extremely overpriced paid DLC.

Konrad: Hey all. Hope you're digging the game a ton, I stayed up way too late last night. >_>

Regarding Kickstarter content – we're aware of the issue with backer keys only granting the base edition, and we're working with Larian on getting the extra content delivered to everyone who should have it. All the things should show up in your accounts automatically, and it should start happening very soon!
"western medicine" is a giant scam
I hope they add an upgrade path to the Eternal Edition
Thanks for the response. Just checking to make sure it was an ongoing process, as I've not received anything yet. I figure I'll give it some time before asking Larian.
