I've been following the developer's page. It's the successor to Train Fever.

Unfortunately it seems that it requires OpenGL 4.0+, so my system is unable to run it. :-(
A must buy though, when I can afford a new laptop.
The ultimate question will be: Is this better than the free OpenTTD?

Here's hoping that it is. It certainly looks pretty.
Well, the original Train Fever was a pretty good game. Had its fair share of flaws, and it's a bit of a pity that the developers chose to make an entirely new game rather than release more patches to the original to fix some of sillier issues (like not being able to add new platforms to a train station), but I'll definitely pick it up. There's definitely a lot of new features and fixes to look for, and watching trains wind their way through the hills just has a certain charm you don't quite get in TTD :)
Will there be any discounts for those who already have Train Fever?
Please be good, please be good, please be good!

I can't go on playing openttd forever!
Choo-Choo Hot! ;) I've been looking forward to this one ever since it was announced.

Absolutely not! NOTHING is better than OpenTTD
> Minimum system requirements - 1 GB VRAM

Too bad. I guess I'll have to wait.

well, this one have better graphics.
I wonder if you also coud build subways in this game.
Open TTD is a very good game but i have looked for a more modern version of it some years now.
so im going to keep an eye on this.

Whishlisted
According to their homepage, mods will be hosted on steam - makes me wonder whether gog users will be able to use them. Train Fever had great mods that made me buy the game in the first place.
Oh, yeah finally. Definitely getting it before release. Though was expecting some discount for previous owners of Train Fever.

Finally looks more like TT.

Nope.

Edit: On Steam there is 25% off for previous owners. Zero discount for previous owners on gog.

Edit2 : The discount is now fixed and is 25% for owners of Train Fever.

Can you clarify what you mean.
That's some great news to see this here, although it was somewhat expected since Train Fever is also here. I'll definitely grab it at some point, when I'm able to add another time hog in my daily routine, provided the reviews are good.
