BKGaming: There is a big difference between organic change due to assimilation into the established culture vs vastly different cultures springing up and fighting for dominate control. The first is fine and is totally okay when you have a controlled legal influx of different people. Here in America we have many different types of food, and ideas that were directly born out of organic changing of culture. The latter is not and is common when you have an uncontrolled large influx of people who may or may not have a completely different culture that is incompatible with Western or European values.
So in a sense your are correct, but what people are afraid of is an influx of large uncontrolled immigration where assimilation doesn't take place.

But is there any evidence that this is or will happen?
According to
Wikipedia (not always the best source I know, but it's easily accessible so it's the first thing that came up) the population of the USA is 308 Million. 72% of those are white and 63% are non Hispanic white.
So in what numbers do these other cultures need to arrive to be considered a threat for dominate control? I'd say you'd need at least 50% of the population of the established cultural majority, if not 75% to 100%.
Even if you assume that the culture you're worried about is Mexican/Hispanic rather than Middle Eastern/Muslim and you remove the Hispanic population already in the US (about 30 Million) then your still talking about another 70 Million plus people needing to arrive to complete displace the current US culture. According to that same page immigration was 1 million in 2011, even assuming an increase in the years since then your still talking 50 + years (with an unchanging white population) and no assimilation what so ever of those immigrants before you reach that tipping point.
So really in the grand scheme of things that seems like a pretty ludicrous fear.
