For some reason, that one didn't work for me at all. There's some crazy enemies, I shoot them, more enemies spawn, I shoot them too ... it should be fun per definition, but it just felt too vanilla.
Other shooters which I didn't like:
CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK had pretty graphic, but feelt way to scripted and console-like.
SERIOUS SAM is a game I just never got into, but I may give it another spin.
ROGUE TROOPER didn't impress me, and is in 3rd person perspective.
SHADOW WARRIOR (2013) was plenty arcade-like, but I couldn't really get into it.
BLOOD is one of the first games I bought here - but sadly, it requres skills, and I suck.
Shooters I love:
F.E.A.R is a gritty combination of nailguns, bullet time and j-horror cut-scenes. (but okay, you already played that one)
TOWER OF GUNS was okay. I liked the idea of a Roguelike-inspired shooter. A bit casual, though.
Rise of the Triad (2013) is plenty fun!
