madth3: Hi:

This is the beta of the list in the wiki.

Instead of just moving the current list I did a revision of the thread to try to separate the scammers from other offenders, I added links to the incriminating posts or to the posts which could be more useful to a new reader. Any suggestions you may have, answer to this post and I'll try to add them.

I would not mind trying to keep this updated. As usual, the wiki opens the possibilitiy to other users helping if I don't answer quickly.

Differences of this list:

1. I did not saw why the names blastocyst and gaming_geek were in that list. I only found some pointing to blastocyst outside of this thread.

2. I added coughning, DuckFace and SuperAndroid mentioned in the thread for the reasons inferred in the links. If you think that was wrong, I'll take them out.
First of all I want to thank you for creating the wiki, it's going to be useful for a lot of people. +1 from me :)

I'm suggesting apehater to be added to the list for re-trading games. See these links for details http://www.gog.com/forum/general/known_scammers/post1062 and http://www.gog.com/forum/general/open_this_thread/post3857

I knew I was forgetting someone in the list of discrepancies, sorry.

I missed the first link included in your post. So he retraded a game he got from you as a gift, correct?

I had left him out because the second link (which I did see) seem a greedy/leech behaviour but not as serious as scammiing and further discussion here was a bit cloudy. Added now.
Very nicely done madth3 and +1 for organizing the list really well. It is much clearer because of the links now to determine which are confirmed scammers and those that are on there for other exploitations.

I was trading games with him, I gave him a GOG game that he re-traded with someone else. It wasn't a gift. Second time was that I traded a few XCOM games with him and then found out he was asking for these same games in a gifting thread just a few days later.

Great job, madth3!

I assume anyone on the wiki can modify the page. Do you have an alert set up that notifies you when changes are made to the page?

mrmarioanonym: thank you +1

Bookmarked! I like how scammers and traders are separated there. And confirmation links are an awesome idea too!

Ok, I reread that post of yours a couple of times and I'd like to get the vote of more people on this. Re-trading traded games is in general not a crime in my personal opinion. And grabbing the freely given games is not nice but if we want to point this behaviour the list would be much longer than just adding apehater.

Added new names and post by HypersomniacLive to the list.

I see very little difference between re-trading a gift and re-trading a game from a trading agreement. In both situations you are assuming the person that gets it will actually use it for themselves unless it has been agreed on in advance that it's ok to give away, trade it for something else etc.

Another problem is that you don't know, regardless if it's a gift or a trade, what the person will do with it. They could take it and then make money by selling keys on other sites which is not allowed on GOG. In my opinion re-trading is not ok for these reasons.

I think people that do this should be in the wiki so that gifters/traders can make their own decision if they want to exclude the person or not. Otherwise, like for myself, there can be some unpleasant surprises.
