IMPORTANT: Please read before posting This topic has been provided to discuss the latest releases of our Downloader (for both Mac and Windows systems) and to submit bug reports. The stable releases (recommended for most users) can be found at this address:http://www.gog.com/downloader.

Latest version:

Mac OS X - 1.2 (build 512)
Windows - 3.6.0

Both Downloaders now have the option of sending Error Reports directly to us (this can be found in app under Settings).

I'm wondering if the cloud push stuff has been disabled or something...

The old 'beta' link leads no where and the working installer links have the gogdownloader:// link type (so not using cloud push) but there's no link type on the bonus content button ...

Same problem I'm having - look at my excerpt ...

windows 7 64bit with Google Chrome browser ... the installer links have a gogdownloader:// link type (and work) but not link type for the bonus content which fails - is cloud push broken? the /account/beta old link no longer works to get to that bit to enable/disable.

Hi guys, I decided to try Warsow, however after the update of the downloader (I was using the beta release previously) it appears that an older instance is launched, which results in the problem that can be seen in the attached screenshot.

Hi,

I just had the new version of the downloader pushed to me: version 3.2.7.0. Since then, downloading games doesn't work. The bonus material don't seem to be giving problems.

1. downloader version: 3.2.7.0 (stable)
2. OS version: windows 7 home premium, service pack 1
3. OS language: Dutch
4. Browser kind and version (this is required only if you're having problems when adding games to the queue from the website) : NA
5. Downloader log contents if possible: error msg in the downloader is: checksum error on chunk 1, please contact support!
6. A detailed description of the problem: games dont download, no problem with bonus material

Both before and after today's update the downloader crashes when trying to put apparently too much on the download queue.

Before the update the order of stuff got jumbled after a crash and some of the latest items were missing, but everything was visible.

Now it's still downloading fine (I can only assume nothing is missing - have to check later), but nothing shows up on the queue. I can add new stuff, but everything that was on the list before the crash is now invisible.

That's weird - it's the exact opposite of me ...

Did you have cloud push enabled before?

It seems the (Windows) downloader doesn't like large Mac games (>2GB).

I can download the Mac versions of Beneath a Steel Sky, Broken Sword 1, Constructor, and Crusader: No Remorse fine, but as soon as I add The Feeble Files or King's Bounty it crashes.

I can download the Windows versions of The Feeble files and King's Bounty though, but the DMG isn't split up to 2000 MB parts like the Windows installer is, so may the problem be related to that?

Downloader version: 3.2.7.0 (stable) - it just auto-updated to that.

I started to use the Downloader today, since the Divinity 2 download is so big... I started a download of the german Divinity 2 installer about 4 hours ago, but i had to interrupt this (Downloading while playing Guild Wars 2 is not the best idea ;) ). As i restarted the Downloader, it prompted me to do an update, which i applied. After the restart it claimed my already started download of Divinity 2 is the MAC OS X installer, and additionally it seemed to be totally stuck. I was able to get it working again by completely removing the game from the downloader and readding it, but a cannot add the fourth part of the installer, nothing happens after i accept the firefox dialog. Another strange issue (or may an user error, i don't know ;)), even if i remove all items from the downloader, it still shows that it is downloading. I can still use the resume and pause buttons, but i don't see anything in the downloader window.

EDIT: Sorry. i forgot to add mz information:
OS: German Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
Downloader Version: 3.2.7.0
Browser: Firefox 15.0.1

5. Not Applicable, since the download doesn't even initiate.
6. When I click the link to download a game, it works fine. When I click any of the links for the bonus content, nothing happens. No errors, just nothing.

Problems:
- cannot add bonus content [looks like it works now]
- after saving settings & closing app - downloader does not remember checkbox 'download speed limit' and downloads game with full speed (possible it is intended?)
- if you use 'remove from list' - game looks like removed but is still being downloaded (can even use Pause and Resume) and after downloader is restarted - game appears on the panel again.

Same here, update from beta only difference is that I'm using win 7 ultimate 32bits and chrome 22.0.1229.94 m and the problems are the same.

I wanted to download the combined bonus content packs but I guess that in the meantime I'll need to download them one by one. (The beta was working fine by the way...)

I updated the downloader (I wasn't using the beta) and it delete my download of Heroes of Might and Magic 5. I was able to re-add it, but it insisted on starting over at 0% instead of continuing from 5.something GB.

Can you please add an option for "wait until downloads are finished before updating" in the next update?

I did a bit of checking, and in my case, all the broken links (the bonus content) had the class tag attribute "download_btn state_normal css3pie list_down_loader accountBetaPushData", while the working ones (the games) had the class tag attribute "download_btn state_normal css3pie".
