Huh. Looks like Empyrion: Galactic Survival, but with better graphics. I like the idea of a DRM-free version, there are certainly enough of these kinds of games on Steam.
Been playing it for a few weeks now. Good game just takes some getting used to.
Looks promising.
Im curious about games like this....although there seems to be more than a few with similar gameplay?.
Finally there's one of these games on GOG. Hopefully we'll get others too, like Stranded Deep, which I really like.

This game looks very cool as well, it fullfulls a certain childhood fantasy of exploring Alien worlds.

I just hope they won't ruin the charm by turning it into a multiplayer game.
With OPTIONAL permadeath, yes?

Some are more action-oriented, like Ark, Conan and The Forrest, which seem to consist of equal parts combat and equal parts crafting. Most of these are more or less aimed at multiplayer gaming.

Then there's more exploring and crafting oriented games, like Stranded Deep and Subnautica. The Long Dark would probably also fit into this group. These work really well as single-player games in my experience.

For those who still haven't spend all of their money for No Man's Sky...
I'm interested in the multiplayer component.
I hope it's not locked to their servers.

Also Subnautica doesn't have multiplayer, so I'd certainly hope it works well as a singleplayer game.
Backed this on Kickstarter. Hopefully, Craneballs will give out GOG keys as well for the DRM-free component of the pledge tiers.

Edit: 3 minutes later... Woah, left a comment on the KS page, and literally a minute later got a key! :P

Is it me, or it kinda looks like No Man's sky?
The devs did a little Q/A here few weeks back: https://www.gog.com/forum/general/planet_nomads_planetary_sandbox/page1

Does anyone have it already? How is character customization? Can you name the character or does he/she gets the account name? Can freely switched between 3rd person view and first person view?
low rated
Another Paid Beta/Early Access pos.
Shame on GOG for allowing such crap here.
