Grargar: They did. :P
Oh my...

EDIT: Interesting. I still had the single box of Battle Isle. But I did an account refresh and I have the multiple titles now. So possibly they are doing the splits but will "push" the changes to accounts in a later step. Unless you refresh, in which case you can see them right away.

My shelf just jumped from 728 games to 809. p_O

mrkgnao: FWIW, they haven't begun yet (except for the two trial games they did last week)...
I already get several HTTP errors and messages like "Found nothing in [add_your_favorite_game_url_here]".

Unfortunately I download to an external USB disk now and my PC has only USB2 which slows things down.
Lets see how much I still can rescue ...

Oops. They hadn't reached my shelf yet.
Did a refresh and saw the change.
Thanks.
OK. Casualties reporting:

- Avernum: Complete Saga has been split into Avernum 1, Avernum 2, Avernum 3, Avernum 4, Avernum 5 and Blades of Avernum. Yup, no Avernum 6 to be found. Not cool.
- Battle Isle Platinum has been split into Battle Isle 1, Battle Isle 2, Battle Isle 3, Historyline 1914-1918 and Incubation.
- Battle Chess Special Edition has been split into Battle Chess 3000, Battle Chess 4000 and Chinese Chess.

- DROD 1+2+3 has been split into DROD 1, DROD 2 and DROD 3.

- Haegemonia Gold Edition has been split into Haegemonia: Legions of Iron and Haegemonia: The Solon Heritage.
- Heroes Chronicles: All Chapters had all its 8 chapters split. Sigh...
- Heroes of Might and Magic V Bundle has been split into Heroes of Might and Magic V and Heroes of Might and Magic V: Tribes of the East. Yup, no Hammers of Fate to be seen and no serials are displayed in my account. Double no cool.
- Incoming+Incoming Forces has been split apart. Same cover for those two.

- Leisure Suit Larry: Greatest Hits and Misses has been split into: Larry 1, Larry 1 (VGA), Larry 2, Larry 3, Larry 5, Larry 6 and Larry 6 (VGA) and Softporn Adventure. The 2 VGA remakes have the same covers as the originals.

- Quest for Glory 1-5 has been spit into Quest for Glory (VGA), Quest for Glory 2, Quest for Glory 3, Quest for Glory 4 and Quest for Glory 5. The original version of Quest for Glory 1 can't be found. Also, all 5 games use the same cover. Sigh...
- Realms of Arkania 1+2 has been split into Realms of Arkania 1 and Realms of Arkania 2.
- Star Control 1+2 has been split into Star Control 1 and Star Control 2.
- The Incredible Machine Mega Pack has been split into Return of the Incredible Machine Contraptions, The Even More Incredible Machine, The Incredible Machine - Even More Contraptions and The Incredible Machine 3. All games are using the same cover.

- Ultima 1+2+3 has been split into Ultima 1, Ultima 2 and Ultima 3.

- Wizardry 6+7 has been split into Wizardry 6 and Wizardry 7.

TL;DR. Wow, what a mess.

Edit: The alphabetical sorting of the Ultima games is a fucking mess (see attached picture).

Matruchus: Is there going to be an option to see the unbundled games bundled in the library cause I really have no use to have them all separate in the library its just going to make a mess for me.

A suggestion: Why don't you just offer separate download links in the bundled games cards. One bundled downloqad link and separate download links for every bundled game under existing game card.

Is there going to be anyway that I can bundle the games together for myself to download them bundled cause I have no use for separate downloads?

So this is basically galaxy prep which makes everything harder for non galaxy users.
A rushed out immature solution which is not thought through probably forced by some time pressure set by the planned Galaxy release date. Of course there would be better solutions without cluttering the game library.

But they never claimed that it will be easy to use GOG without Galaxy, only that it will be "optional".
Declined! I don't want a mess in my account! Thanks!
I think it will look cleaner if the unbundled games remain under same tittle with seperated entries.
Where is Avernum 6?
You shouldn't split all these games, but only those which are standalone titles like Tombrider 1, 2 and 3. And doing it in yours proposed way isn't correct in my opinion. And very, very unfair is to remove some titles which were bundlend earlier like Heroes V with both expansions :(

---
Heroes V seems to consist of both expansions, I was suggested by your list from [here], where
Heroes V Bundle = (Heroes of Might and Magic V) + (Heroes of Might and Magic V - Tribes of the East)
but now on the shelf it is standing like
(Heroes of Might and Magic V + Hammers of Fate) + (Heroes of Might and Magic V - Tribes of the East)

So, in the end it is kind of you to care about, I will remember that :)

On a side note, did the unbundling affect owned games showing when logged in? I just looked at the silver bullets promo and it showed i didn't own any (which i do). Just for kicks i selected checkout and it said i could only gift it b/c i already have some titles. ?

Ciris: I am seeing a lot of questions here, and passing them on to our web team and those working on this. I'll try to get some feedback regarding some of your concerns, since I don't know all that much about the technicalities of the process myself.
I know you are just the messenger, but please pass this along.

The system you have put in place is ridiculous. For example, The incredible Machine and Heroes Chapters now take up a disproportionate amount of shelf space and it is damned difficult to distinguish between different games (same goes for QfG). With 260 games it was already a chore to manage my collection, but now it's bloody impossible.

Once again, could you at least reconsider the option of putting expansions and base games back together? If I remember correctly, one of GOG's stated goals is to make things easier for the consumer (don't let him worry his pretty head and all that) and this is certainly going against that. There is no need to unbundle elements of games that belong together in a complete copy (and force us to run a million installer to get the final version).

If this is not possible, then get one of the higher ups to explain why he/she would enjoy spending a lot of time going through the now artificially lengthened installation process. An explanation (and not just "We need it for Galaxy", cause this complexity won't attract any Steamboys to you service) would be highly welcome.
