When you’ve entered the Haunted Grounds, the very first thing that I’ve presented to you was the realm of Days Gone. That event stirred the very fabric of GOG, and countless souls screamed in unison: MORE!

Today, the Haunted Grounds are ready to answer, and offer you a glimpse into the future: God of War and UNCHARTED™: Legacy of Thieves Collection will soon arrive on GOG!

Let us delve deeper in what you’re about to witness.

Prepare to don the mantle of Kratos in the critically acclaimed masterpiece, God of War. This time, the Ghost of Sparta ventures into the realm of Norse mythology, where gods, monsters, and legends collide. Armed with his Leviathan Axe and accompanied by his son Atreus, Kratos embarks on a profoundly personal journey, exploring the tumultuous relationship between father and son amidst the chaos of divine forces. The game’s stunning visuals, immersive storytelling, and visceral combat mechanics promise an unparalleled adventure that will leave an indelible mark on your gaming soul.

But the excitement doesn’t stop there. UNCHARTED™: Legacy of Thieves Collection is set to bring the charismatic Nathan Drake back into action. Delve into the adrenaline-fueled escapades of the roguish treasure hunter as he embarks on daring quests, uncovers ancient mysteries, and outwits cunning adversaries. The collection includes two beloved titles, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, both remastered to showcase their breathtaking visuals and cinematic storytelling. Traverse exotic landscapes, solve intricate puzzles, and engage in heart-pounding gunfights, all while immersing yourself in a narrative that rivals the most captivating Hollywood blockbusters.

These upcoming arrivals mark a pivotal moment on GOG, as we know how many souls wanted to visit those incredible realms on our platform. Soon enough you’ll be able to travel the mythical realms of gods and monsters in God of War, and embark on a thrilling treasure hunt across the globe in UNCHARTED™: Legacy of Thieves Collection.

Memecchi: Ehh actually I could see these games being the big christmas releases, mainly because they're already announced so there's no point in keeping us waiting, but also because there's no better sales window
Christmas is over 1 1/2 months away. And if you're really waiting, this can feel like an eternity. I had this when Overload was announced. Longest month of my life :D
I want all the Uncharted games on Gog!
Why only two games ?

Seb3.7: I love those moments here on GOG.
from 2005 to 2023 there is 18 years.
GoG was founded in 2008, not 2005, so it's 15 years :)

Why is your glass half empty instead of half full? ;)

It's amazing that Sony even cares about tiny GoG!

I would surmise that it is due to the relative-simplicity of using the existing Steam version as a base. As it has often been the case, the game executables (and libraries) for GOG versions may have been originally tailored for Steam, with DRM removed (or, disabled with a work-around) and/or Galaxy integration added (through a DLL wrapper).

As far as I am aware, the other Uncharted games have not been ported to PC; so, they are unlikely to be released here.

Because the others are not available for PC.
Thank you GOG & Sony!
Nice!

ReynardFox: Uncharted... well can you really jump in and fully enjoy these without first playing the original trilogy? I've heard some bad things about the writing in these newer ones too, along with reports that they're buggy.
Personally, love the GoW games, but...

... IMO the newest Uncharted games -- although they are technically far beyond the original trilogy and can be played without prior knowledge of the series (although some knowledge of the series helps) -- are a mishmash of themes (sometimes opposing themes) and just aren't very well-told. I LOVE the Uncharted series (1 - 3) but after completion resold my physical copy of Uncharted 4. I just had no interest in ever replaying it. Crazy since I have played and replayed the original trilogy many times.

I feel very much the same way about Naughty Dog's The Last of Us series. The first is brilliantly told. The second? IMO Druckmann lost the point.

I really do think that Druckmann hit a point where his best (or even "good") work is in the past... across multiple series. Maybe some of the "hits" had to do with Straley?

Fun coincidence: OneyPlays played a bit of Estatica (published by Psygnosis) and released the video today.

Probably because the new ones are worse, and also because the new ones have data collection spyware integrated into them, but the old ones don't.

I couldn't disagree more. I consider Uncharter 4 and Lost Legacy the best of the whole series. Granted, I do have one major problem with the story in 4, but I still think it has overall the best story of them all. I had a ton of fun with all the Uncharted games, even though they were some of the first games I played on a console so I also was often very frustrated with using a controller, but in terms of story 1-3 really aren't in the same league as Thieve's End for me. They are however, in my opinon, absolutely essential for Thieve's End and Lost Legacy to have any meaning to the player. I mean yes, you can certainly follow the plot without them, but it won't matter unless you know and care about these character.

lol I guess you could win the first price in "critical thinking"...

Anyway, there are some good aspects as well: The game surely is very immersive because of the mostly "up to date" tech, and it is providing great gameplay still. In general it is nice to see Sony "moving" more close toward GoG, this is itself a welcome feat and with open room for improvements.

windows is spyware too, dont be a hypocrite.
Unfortunately yes...
Sure, there are ways "limiting" the data being gathered, yet... i would never feel bold enough saying "they would never spy", not gonna happen. I think people have to be realistic and so far... the first important move is to expand the collection of those "franchises" and gaining new potential. Even having it DRM free is already "a lot to ask", already a big step.
