sbaylus: I was thinking about trying it too, installed it on my system and got the --list to work. Now all I need is a tutorial on the correct way to use it (and to be sure it uses the same directory names as gogrepo).
I never have used gogrepo. But I would assume they both use the same game directory names, which they get from the GOG repository. You could try out lgogdownloader with some small games in a separate directory to see what it does. Something like:
lgogdownloader --game=teenagent --download
To download all of your games just use it without the --game option:
lgogdownloader --download
lgogdownloader automatically will skip already downloaded files.
Other interesting options for the start are:
--platform to select for which operating systems you want to download installers,
--language in case you also want to download installers for other languages,
--save-changelogs to save a local copy of the changelog,
--save-serials to download and save the serial numbers of games.
So as an example you could use:
lgogdownloader --download --platform=w --language=en --save-changelogs --save-serials
With --save-config you can save your configuration to a config file so that you do not have to type the options all the time. lgogdownloader also has a manual page. When it's installed on your system you can display it with "man lgogdownloader". And of course, when something does not work, you always can ask in the
lgogdownloader thread.
