GoG needs to stop growing before it fixed all the current issues.
It's already crumbling under its own weight.

Isn't that the main problem, really? Via humble you are now in a postion to purchase a big chunk of the Star Wars games for the price of like one or two games on Gog...
I can just hear the raging of people who bought the games for a considerably higher price on Gog, that they were cheated and wronged, and should just have waited a couple of days.

Wow, what a hardcore nonsequitur.
1. GOG isn't crumbling, they're growing, and the new releases are evidence of said growth.
2. If you mean supplementary services unrelated to game sales (such as dealing with forum spam and...what else?), the more they grow their main business, the more extra $$ they'll be able to spend on extra shit.

Games randomly disappearing from library for some accounts would be a massive issue which should have been resolved a long time ago.

Still, it won't get resolved unless GOG grows. Someone gotta pay them bills.

YESSS! I so agree with you on this.
I buy from GOG to support the DRM-free scheme and because of the additional items. I buy from Humble Bundle to support their scheme also and of course, the charities. However, I don't like that Humble Bundle games are always Steam games.
Steam doesn't allow me to save installers, and there aren't freebies like game manuals or even wallpapers.

Same here. Not dusty at all. Well, maybe some parts of it :P

Disappearing of games from the shelf, completely broken update notification (especcially bad in combination with the aforementioned problem), crap board software (search engine...), bonus content removals because of unclear contracts with the publishers/devs, etc...

That's also what I'm seeing here. They're too cheap to pay full price for these games (even with the release discount, I'm guessing?) but they're too impatient to wait for a sale that suits them.

I hate to necro this thread but I can't stand presumptuous people like you. In fact, I have no intention of buying these games at any price. My complaint was that the sale would draw potential GOG customers over to Steam so soon after their GOG release. But go on, keeping making assumptions like you know me.
