I never said in that post or elsewhere that I actually thought that was the case. I asked if ZFR and Micro staged that publicly as it was a surprising interaction between them for me. The all-day scumchat (I assume that's what you're reffing to with "eavesdrop secure method") was obviously a possibility but a highly unlikely one considering this thing didn't bring any reasonable benefits to risk it. If you got that impression by my first line "You know who would say that? Scum-buddies who coordinated such a thing in their chat!" that was intended as a joke. Hence why my very next sentence starts with "jokes aside". I thought the avatars bit was cleared up and we decided to move on.

I assume you're asking do I know "if" Carradice is scum (and not that you know they are and if I also know :)). No, I don't.

I'm wouldn't say "worried" but it is something that I wouldn't like happening solely because I went out of my way to make sure no one in the game is at a disadvantage because someone else was experimenting.

@Trent: My tops are still Scene and SMFP, maybe Carradice. No longer in particular order though as things are becoming more and more blurry. Micro is starting to weird me out. Yog is nowhere to be seen and that's pretty annoying at this time. I totally get RL is an issue but for some reason I expected him to hit the ground running and and it appears he just hit the ground and got knocked the fuck out. I'm having second thoughts about Joe.

The only reason I could give you some Town points, is because I think Carradice is scum and you can't be scum together: No way would scum allow *two* of them to stay as the two leading wagons in a setup where majority is not needed to lynch, unless they were the worst scum team ever.

I did quick skim through #55 to remind myself of the time I last played with Joe and now I decided he and gogtrial are necessary policy lynches. Man, I was bad in that game but the way they made a fool of me still makes me cringe. They need to die. Fake vote Joe and Fake vote gogtrial.


I don't like how Micro conjured Joe seemingly out of nowhere, it appeared more like RVS vote but he states he is convinced he is scum.
Also, while I am on the fence with ZFR myself, I find he tried to twist his words to possibly redirect public opinion to ZFR and help Carradice of the hook. I think he could be trying to save his buddy Carradice. Vote Microfish but more than willing to jump back.


Joe for me is Joe. I always have difficulties in reading him and his train of thoughts seems to go weird ways I have trouble to follow sometimes. I find him a bit whimsical and he is good in fooling me thanks to this and that's mostly why I find his usual self and I am not sure what his self-proclaimed difference would be.

As I practically represent the whole mafia community I'd say they most certainly are.
It's not that jesters are hated but the people who mention them and try to explain someone's behaviour by using them.
It could be taken as way to lynch someone without calling them mafia and in the beginning of my playing career it turned out mafia were doing it and since them it is just scum tell IMO.

As i said in that post, I didn't like the reasoning for him going after Carradice and I feel like he is doing little actual scum-hunting and focuses on mechanics instead so mostly leaning scum. What gives me bigest pause is my read on Carradice.
Since then he said he doesn't want to lynch Carradice only to remove distraction but haven't eplained me what it was. Me not pleased.

Flocke is mentioned in the following. I feel like they are trying with the little they posted but while I joke about it, I do suspect anyone who comes up with jester.

At this point in the game? Not one who strikes as notoriously scummy. If you are very sure of anyone being scummy at this stage, I salute you. People who looks more townie? Yes. Also, an assorted bag of odds and ends that I would not vouch for. Be it for mixed play or because they are big unknowns or because of plausible reasons that still are not that good nor that bad. But yes, I am paying attention at them as I try to get more. Only that some are giving the thread very little, of course with plausible excuses, but still being very sure about whom to vote (that they do both is worth applause).

Do you have any solid scum readings at this stage. Anything that goes further than an instinctive reaction against the unfamiliar? (like a guy discussing rules before reading his PM). Again, if you have, I salute you.

It's not impossible. Carradice has never ever (in this game) considered Joe as scum. I know Joe is 5506°C hot but still, not pre-PM, not post-PM, not ever? But PMGate is making too little sense for scum so only the post-PM time is what matters and that makes things too specific and relying on a coincidence. Still possible.


On the second read this actually appears to be the case more or less. I think the only thing that stands out to me is that silly SOMGUS vote but it's not beyond Town-Joe to do something like that. He does seem more similar to how he played last time when I again though he was scum (and unfortunately that ended up losing the game for us as a team) than the other game I remember when I thought he was scum and he actually was. I can't really remember and point out the differences but the second going over his posts here is leaving that impression. So I don't know.


We didn't even finish as it became so late and we saved the session to continue during the weekend but I won't win for sure. The game we played is called Everdell, by the way.
