I sent in feedback about the new account design and this is the reply I received.
"Hello,
Thank you for your feedback. Please note that, over time, the old Account section became increasingly difficult to maintain and expand, which prompted us to replace it with a completely new implementation. Because it is virtually impossible to maintain both the old and new Account section, we will only continue to improve on the new one. The old section will no longer be available, even in optional form.
Some functionalities of the old Account didn't make it into the new one - some might still find their way back in the future, while others cannot, due to technical considerations. As you most likely remember, the old Account became more and more resource-hungry over time, and we wanted to avoid this in the new one.
We hope that, over time, you will grow accustomed to the new section, and please rest assured that we're not done with it yet, and we will be adding features and improvements in the future.
Regards,
Natalia

So no more GoG for me. The main thing I liked about GoG was the classic game shelf with the original game boxes. I'll be downloading my classics and adios, GoG. Not a huge deal because I've hated almost every decision they've made recently anyway; web site design, adding movies, adding newer games, adding social features, focusing on the download client.
Disappointing to see yet another company forget their original customers, vision and lose their soul. Becoming another cookie cutter games portal? I expect they'll be implementing some garbage like Steam Greenlight soon also.
Of course this is my opinion, so if you disagree and like the new GoG, great. I'll be interested to see what happens with them, but without my patronage.
P.S. Another clear sign that GoG has lost their way; advertising/selling DLC for a game that hasn't even been released yet.
