Completely different things. I can very well understand why they deleted the GOGmix. Especially after the correspondence that the creator of the mix posted.

GOG is tired of you seeing other game sites. GOG is tired of hearing about cows and getting milk free. GOG is tired of you being a playah and thinking this is all just fun and games. GOG has been dropping hints for years to no avail, so now GOG is making it clear: GOG wants a commitment.

Clue: The "Community Wishlist" has "beta" next to its name.
Clue: The original description obviously wasn't that great anyway, otherwise no one would have marked it as a duplicate of another.

Just try again and make a new wish already… Otherwise the actual wish itself doesn't really matter to you.

Just make a new one. I rather suspect that this is so far down their list of priorities that new items of higher priority gets added on a daily basis.

Don‘t make a new wishlist entry. That would be GOGs „get out of jail“ card to cover their incompetence. Better revive this thread every now and then to show how they tread their customers.

So let me clarify, we're not stepping back from GOG Galaxy being optional - the client is optional and will remain like that. The situation we have here, with the merge of both wishes is a bug. We're investigating what happened and will try to restore it to the previous state.
