PenutBrittle: I've explained myself quite thoroughly by now.
--------------
You seem to have a personal problem with me, GameRager, and I don't know why.
---------------
But this is a thread for gaming deals, so I would appreciate it if you didn't throw it off topic by trying to start an argument.
And that's all I wanted....thank you for explaining.
-----------------
Gah, why is it that everyone thinks when I make a remark that I hate them or am trying to start a big fight over something.(generalizing here) :\

I don't have any problem with you....I was just bothered a bit by your words & was wondering what your motivations were, is all.
--------------
I wasn't trying to argue.

avatar
Psyringe: I don't think it's personal, he just likes to argue. ;)
---------------
Which can be fun at times, but this thread is indeed not the best place for it.
---------------
Any new deals coming up? I suppose the addition of "Amidos Puzzle Collection" to Bundle-in-a-Box doesn't exactly count ...
I'd say I like to debate/ask questions(maybe argue sometimes, but only rarely) more than argue. ;)
----------------
Bah, everyone knows my posts are the epitomy of boring.
----------------
It doesn't count? Since when? 0.o

PenutBrittle: It's not just this thread though. He seemed to only start arguing in this thread because of another... Oh well.

Has the Paradox stream sale been mentioned yet? It's now live. Steam codes, though other versions like Uplay and Origin can be bought at less of a discount. Disappointed a lot of the DLC isn't included, but good if you like Paradox strategies.

When people say things I severly disagree with(or which peak my interest, as was the reaosn behind my reply to you recently.) I tend to feel the need to reply. Most times I tend to be civil, but onc every so often I can't hold back. :\

What kind of games does Paradox make again? Anything good?

EDIT: Just noticed that it was updated with a bunch more stuff... interesting.
EDIT EDIT: Oh, none of those are on sale though... bah.
FINAL EDIT I SWEAR: Found a better link.
The sale might be interesting, but the direct sale page is not exactly very informative. There is only an info "Click a title below to purchase the Steam Key for your game". So I would assume each of these games comes with a Steam key?
Seeing two games there I have rarely seen on sale, for $2.50 and [url=http://www.paradoxplaza.com/games/victoria-complete]Victoria I Complete for $2.50 as well, I checked both game pages and they say there "Requires Steam Activation". Guess I'm finally getting Sengoku, thanks for the info! :)

Ugh, you know what I did? I fixed the text version of the link, but not the one in the URL tag. I'm an idiot.

This page is the one I meant to link to, it's slightly more helpful: http://www.paradoxplaza.com/buy

But yes, it's not a terrific layout. The checkout does let you know that all orders are for Steam keys, however.

And you replied to my comment before I fixed that screwed up Sengoku link. :D
Well yes that page is a bit better, but still not really informative. So good to know that they do confirm it during ordering, I didn't go through the checkout process yet. Any news how long the sale will last?

Their Twitter said the sale was specifically during the livestream they're doing, which is supposed to be around four hours long. It started three hours ago, so I wouldn't wait. I don't think they would have a sale for only four hours, but you never know.

I noticed it says Bloodlines does not support win7. Does it work if you set it to compatibility settings?

Want this, underrated shooter I sold the box for. How does Gamefly work when it's not a Steam key? Do you need their client?

Yep, client is required (to download). And Adobe Air.

edit: TimeShift info - Note This game is not supported on 64-bit operating systems. Is this true? Anyone know?

*Sigh*

I´ll never be able to buy GUN at some decent price. The only place where I can buy it digitally is through Steam, and a promo never happened there (U$ 17.00). Do you know if activation is region restricted too? Thanks.

Edit: Forget it, sorry, only Tony Hawk is Steam.

In the Paradox promo, Steam today deal is Mount & Blade bundle - http://store.steampowered.com/sub/14259/

I have windows 7 and worked for me, following a guide in steam forums

I suppose it woud also work in non-steam versions

I can also only speak for the Steam Version but it worked for me on W7x64.
64 bit not supported is not the same as does not work on 64 bit. It's likely a hold over from the original spec sheet. Anyway it worked fine on my Win7 64 bit machine a couple years ago.

Got Timeshift and Gun. Happy customer so far, it appears they download exes and such to install without the client running. Can confirm later. Forgot I had some games on Direct2Drive too, happy to see Manhunt 2 again. Underrated game if you can stand a straight-up console port.
