Steam has Novalogic Everything Pack on sale again this year.

A few dollars more expensive than last sale but still a good price for sixteen games:

GG Deals of the day

Orcs Must Die! Goty (-75%, £2.24 here)
King's Bounty Platinum (-75%, £7.49 here)
Gothic Complete Collection (-75%, £4.99 here)
Fray: Reloaded Edition (-75%, £3.75 here)
Has anyone bought the Civ 5 Gods & kings from Amazon?

It is advertised as MAC version.
People have said that, being Steamworks, it will also work with PC version.
Can anyone who has actually bought it confirm that this is true?

Pretty sure it worked for me, but I'll start it up again just in case to check as I hadn't played yet. Edit: Gods and Kings Loading Screen and Title screen, seems to work fine on my Windows 8 machine :)

Thank you.
I was just a bit concerned as Amazon are also advertising the PC version, for twice the price!

They are differently priced because the MAC version has a different publisher than the PC version and they got a better deal from Aspyr. Thanks to it being a Steamplay (corrected thanks to Luisfius, it was Steamplay not Steamworks) title however we can simply choose the cheaper one. ;)

Since Civilization V Gods and Kings is not only steamworks, but is advertised as being Steamplay, activating either windows or ac versions gives access to both.

fartheststar: This has already been discussed, but I think the GOG pick 5 for $10 is a pretty sweet deal. Stands up well to other things out there. Picked up Resonance, Darwinia, To the Moon, Unmechanical, and Anomaly.... Now just gotta play them. Hope the downloader is working for me.
Wow, someone hasn't played Anomaly! Enjoy! It's a really fun reverse TD game.

Is it actually a worthwhile DLC?

dirtyharry50: So, Amalur bundle with both DLC on Amazon.com on Monday for 11 bucks? Can this really be true?
It has been confirmed multiple times. I would "be there" early as they may hit some arbitrary limit of keys.

StingingVelvet: Considering I am big into digital PC game purchasing (on GG pretty often) and always read gaming news and yet had no idea this IGN discount existed I kind of question the idea of it being essential to GG's business.
I knew it existed, I just don't like IGN and didn't care (I don't buy that much from GG, because Paypal is balls). There are a certain group of people that they will have alienated with this and there are a lot of alternatives these days. They say the same thing about strip clubs around here, if you make people feel unwelcome, there's another club a block in any direction, which is only a slight exaggeration:)

Gods and Kings makes the game feel considerably more... Complete. I still prefer Civ 4, but Civ 5 with the Gods and Kings expansion is very, very nice. It is the equivalent of Beyond the Sword for 4.

Thanks, bought it, there's a lot of Mac Civ V gamers today I guess;)
