Not even close to being the only one.
I know of that wonderful remake for some time now, can't believe it wasn't mentioned here before.
Kudos, _Slaugh_!

I wait upon the unidirectional pronouncement of your thumbs before trying this. I think it's safe to label you the standing dwarven authority on GOG ;)

So far even installing and launching is buggy. It's an alpha so that's somewhat to be expected but I cannot even play it as of yet.

Mountain Bike Freeride, is a challenging downhill cycling game.
It has been posted in the past but with only a link to the developers site.

Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate

An indie role-playing game that it does not feature a clear main protagonist, despite initial impressions of leading characters. This has been implemented to allow each and every one of the characters to develop and expand at their own pace; the progression of the storyline is also unique in this respect as each of the characters has a significant part to play in the plot.
Also a couple on the main page: http://www.desura.com/games/the-stained http://www.desura.com/games/the-notebook
Who would think of looking for free games in the banners of the main page?

:-)
I kid. Thanks for this two which I actually added to my Desura backlog.
Also SantuaryRPG, since today.

UnReal World Roguelike RPG! By Enormous Elk.

I discovered this a week ago, but it's been in active development for 24 years since it was created in 1990, but first released in 1992.

It's a roguelike survival game with low-fi pagan gods flavour in it, I've been playing for days it's kinda uncomfortable at the beggining but it comes with a tutorial that'll let you understand how the game works, after that the controls will be no problem!

PS: there's also a mod's section, I suggest getting Wickerman_156's Graphical Enhancement Pack, it will bring yet more flavour to your experience along with the new portraits.
