Sepulchre (sadly Windows only)
Sepulchre is an adventure short from Owl Cave, written by Ashton Raze (Richard & Alice) and drawn by Ben Chandler (The Blackwell Epiphany), and with other awesome contributions from lots of lovely people.

It’s a game featuring horror, trains, and huge bags. It should take most people around half an hour to play through.

Sepulchre is free. That means it doesn’t cost money. It’s like stealing, but legal.
(There's also a paid version, you can read all about it if you click on the above link)

Desura's latest Freedom Friday has hit the web. This time it includes Deer Hunter 1066, CDF Ghostship, Endgame: Syria, and Boredom. An interesting mix of themes, as well as the range of styles.

IAmSinistar: CDF Ghostship,
it's on greenlight atm: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=152031059
Hope it gets going, as it looks fun and should be finished.
Unfortunately the GTA games are no longer being offered for free anymore.
Puzzle Moppet

Puzzle Moppet is a serenely peaceful yet devilishly challenging 3D puzzle game.

A new free game addition at ShinyLoot (or at least I don't recall seeing it in the list before).
Love Hotel

It's all about frisky business in Love Hotel! Build and manage a sexy hotel for lovestruck couples, making the most of a skimpy budget and showing your guests a great time. The rooms are perverse, the staff are exceptionally discrete, and the clients just want to leave without an empty wallet! Satisfy your guests' fetishes with themed suites such as: spooning, tropical, and chocolate moustache. Eventually people will come from all over the world, and beyond, to stay at your six-star Love Hotel!

New free title at Desura. And eww, chocolate moustache...
This thread is lacking a link to A Story About My Uncle, a very well made short 3D platforming adventure with (mostly) great graphics, voiceovers, music and general atmosphere and enjoyable game mechanics. It's easy to pick up, and family friendly, too. The only downside is its save system; while it does have very fair checkpoints during a chapter, your progress is not saved when you quit the game halfway through. You can always select to continue at the start of a chapter though and they only take about 15 minutes each to complete (unless you get stuck at one of the slightly more difficult spots, but overall the game is easy). Highly recommended!

Thanks, looks good.
There are some pretty great games in this thread!

Here are my two cents.

Decker

A roguelike-like (kind of...) about hacking in a cyberpunk setting.

Stellar Trader

If you liked FTL or Smugglers, you should check this one out.
Dogfight: Battle in the Skies:
A 2D side-view game where you control a plane on one team and try to shoot down the other team's planes and destroy your opponents' base. The site is in German, but the game can be set to English from the main menu.

Streets of Rage Remake (also known as Bare Knuckle Remake) is a mind-blowing SOR fangame, released by Bombergames in 2011 on the Microsoft Windows platform. It is ultimately designed as a remake of the original Mega Drive trilogy, though in some ways it can be seen as a true sequel to SOR3.

It is considered by the SOR fan community as a whole to be the definitive SOR fangame, with some going as far as calling it the SOR4 that Sega never made. Truly, it has to be played to be believed - it really is that good. In my personal opinion, Streets of Rage Remake v5 (the final version of the game) has been produced to such a high standard I would expect no less from Sega themselves. Kudos to the development team for that exceptional achievement!

The game is programmed from scratch in Fenix programming language (which was developed specifically for 2D games development). It does not use reverse engineering nor a single line of code from the original games. It's all based on visual interpretation, and also sports a whole host of special features and upgrades which bring the SOR gameplay experience into the 21st century, without compromising the classic 'feel' of the originals. The game has 18 playable characters, including a fully recreated Adam in SOR2/3 style, new characters 'Rudra' and 'Elle' (Electra) and a host of awesome new music remixes! Mr. X and the Syndicate are back (again!), more powerful than ever! It's time to once again walk the Streets of Rage!

'V5' is the final version of the game, with no planned future revisions.

Battle Festival [ハロープロジェクト! バトルフェスティバル] is one of the coolest Fighter Maker 95 games that most have probably never heard of before (and I couldn't fit the whole title), but it's been around for at least a good four years. It uses a mostly simple fighting system that allows for a limited amount of combos and technical moves, more akin to an old-school fighter with a greater degree of character balance. Considering it uses the FM95 engine, it features lots of characters (to this day, it seems the author has yet to implement four characters), twenty stages, and large sprites with nice animations (not unlike Takase's "Arm Joe"). It seems fairly close to completion and is based on "Morning Musume".
