If I remember correctly I was never one who would take a free game that I definitely wouldn't like. And since I tried Spelunky, a game I got for free, I'm even more reluctant to take a free game. Also games that are part of series and of which I don't have the previous parts, will most likely not to be taken by me.

Point_Man: The only free game i regret adding to my account is a Steam key i got for free for the game Dead Effect from Fanatical/Bundle Stars. I went on the game's page after i added it to my account and the first news post i see is from the developers of the game defending themselves against claims that their game was data mining players. Yaaaaa.... I think i'll just leave that one untouched on my account.
You can remove Steam games permanently with just a few clicks.

I thought i remembered reading somewhere that removing them basically only hides them but that they're still attached to your account? Idk i'll look into it, thanks.
