Definitely not alone, but certainly in the minority. :)
GOG filters off shovel-ware, so we have only good games and games which have historical value.
And I can always hide any game in the library if I want to.
I mean, I understand the sentiment, but I've jumped on every free offering. I also understand why GOG do it, as I haven't looked at my account for awhile, but now I'm back on the site, in the forums and looking at my library and sales.
It's a pretty gesture on gog part to offer them, but i've taken few of them.
Not my type of games.
Often pass. Don't like the "because i can", "grabby grabby" mentality. Other parameters than maximizing accumulation.
I get them because I might want it in the future and then have to pay. Hard to predict what my tastes will be years from now.

If it bothers you to see it in your library, there's an option to hide games.
No you're not alone. I didn't get this one. Not interested. At. All. In any of the Carmawhathellevers.

ADDED: I should note though, that it's still possible I'll get it. Not because I want it though. But there was at least one other free one that I didn't want and because the thing is at the top close to where I'm clicking anyway I accidentally clicked it and got it. Trying to be careful with this one.

Like a number of others here, I tend to grab them even if it's something I don't think I'd be interested in now. Tastes change, so I may want to pay it at a later date. And, as noted earlier, it's a great and cost-free way to try a genre I might otherwise not bother with if I had to shell out money. You never know, perhaps something will click with a game you thought you'd never like.
I'll pass if I'm not interested.

I still regret that time I accidentally clicked on some random old adventure game by mistake (I think it was called Twinson's Adventure?). I was scrolling or something during a big sale and I can't remember if I wanted to click the banner or just a misclick during the scroll but there it was, on my shelf.

Yes, I know I can hide stuff. But I'll still *know* it's there ;)

On the flipside - was Alan Wake given away a few years ago? I feel like it was and I still REGRET not grabbing that one. It turned out to be a different sort of game than I thought it was (all I remembered was that it was something I wasn't interested in when it was supposed to be a "killer app" on XBox). I still wish I had grabbed it.
I won't pass.

I might become interested later. Even if I don't, and it's a crap game, well there's a chance that having it in my library means I won't waste money on it the next time I'm buying these darn pinatas.

If you buy pinatas, and want to maximise your likelihood of getting games you like, then it's best to grab all the freebies, crap or not :)

In this case, I was very very happy to see TDR 2k here and I'm surprised it's free. I think it's a worthy game. Not great, but worthy.

It would be nice to gift code them as to pass them along six months down the road to someone who would be interested.
I always take a freebie if all it costs is a click on a main GOG page. It happens very rarely that I dont play any good game atm but when it happens I start trying unknown games in my library. Last time I did that I spent 100+ hrs on Eador Genesis. What a gem that game was .. and I didnt even know it existed before.
There's no reason not to grab it - it's free and it's not like they are going to run out. If there was a limited number to be given away then I'd be selective, not wanting to take it away from others who might enjoy it more. But as it is, there's absolutely no reason not to take every freebie, even if the chance I'll ever play it is slim.

I guess my reason would be clogging up my library

I don't understand that at all. It's not like we have limited space here or have to play things in order. I have no obsessive-compulsive need to play everything I have here. I'm perfectly happy to have any amount of free games in my library, waiting just in case I ever change my mind and feel like playing them. Even if it will never happen.

Well I rely on playing games off the Galaxy Client and if there were too many games I didn't like there I wouldn't see the wood for the trees. So if I was more organised I guess having clutter there wouldn't matter but I'm not.
