I can prove that I can block, and I know it's hard to say but I really don't think I'd block vitek as mafia, so it might help clear me. Other than that I don't know what I can do. You think it's me because the action results seem to clear almost everyone else, and probably if I'd been investigated and it was someone else in my position I'd think the same thing.

Hm. He does appear to almost want to be scum-read at times, doesn't he? Sorry Joe, but some of your D1 arguments appeared to be a bit scummy, and your push to assume we cleared you is a bit of a psychological tell. However, Joe's claimed role is also the easiest for gunsmith to confirm - barring that he is a mafia doctor, he should not give a positive gun result, so the gunsmith(s) may wish to consider that. Of the other claimed roles, dedo's is impossible for you two to determine, Catte's depends solely on if mafia have a doctor. (Which is probably unlikely, but possible.)

We were reading back thru to get an unofficial vote count and found this from 3 days ago:

One would have thought Joe would say something since he seemed fairly set on suspecting nmillar and this was a chance to call that out to town.

While this looks damning for Joe, it does bring up another question -
Would a Jailor, which mafiascum wiki says will not block an investigative role on the Jailor's target, account for the flavour nmillar saw in his pm? (sounding like an empty room) If so, would this confirm Joe is a Jailor, instead of another type of roleblocker? Mafia Jailors are not unheard of, but with only two mafia, why would there be need of a Jailor instead of a simple Roleblocker?

Okay, so I've gone back through Catte's posts looking for any possible alternative crumbs that he could have referred to instead of the Dr. C one, but not found anything, so believe this to be a genuine claim (and I do not believe a mafia doctor serves any purpose in this game).

Joe the Jailor visiting Vitek is an interesting one, so I'm trying to figure out if this would have had any effect on the night result I obtained from Vitek.

We tend to agree. It may come down to who you feel best for you to investigate, lunch Joe and investigate Catte, or lunch dedo and investigate Joe.


The deadline is approx. 11-14 hours from now. We should be heading to bed in an hour and may be cutting the deadline somewhat close due to a doctor appt, so last thoughts or reasoning would be appreciated. Understand if those from more confirmed town may bear greater weight.
