I was mostly just getting tired of waiting for the inevitable....and the writing WAS on the wall re: me being lynched soon enough.

(Also, yes, I will admit that seeing some posts did turn me off the current game a bit as well....not gonna get into it here, but might talk about it later on after the game in the admin thread)

Sorry if I was being a bit of a jerk, but at this point lynching you was the best course for Town in my opinion.

Again, (assuming you're Town and all you said is true) I appreciate the fact that you got stuck with a difficult role. I really feel you. But you did make some blunders. I'd be playing against Town's interest if I didn't vote the way I did.

It wasn't you, per se......it was/is more a general feeling of "rigidness" and seeming inability for some players to play outside their own pre-determined "boxes", some taking the game a bit too seriously(and draining some of the fun for me re: the game out of the game as a result), and other factors...all of which has pervaded several games i've played in.

It just boiled to a head in this game, and combined with IRL stuff and other factors I decided to help "bow myself out" of this game.

OK fair enough.

But...

You don't like when others tell you how to play. So let others play the way they want too. We're really all playing here for the fun of it: no one is a professional Mafia player, no one gets paid for winning, this is just something we do in our spare time to relax and have fun. What you see as "serious" or "rigid" is pretty normal for me.

Sorry Gym, we know it's your own wacky style, but there was an underlying tripwire to what you set up.

We may not have long to answer questions as we pretty much anticipate we'll be in our cage in the observation thread tomorrow, so you may have to go looking at our previous posts since we don't know if we have time to link things up. We tried to leave feathers. LOL.

We asked ZFR regarding PGO, balance to game, and daychat. Yes, PGO can also be mafia in rare instances, and yes there was mention of a day-chat. What caught our attention was Gym's posts 104, 109, 119 and 129. His answers to our question pretty much continued in the same loop - so the decision was made to back off and observe, trying to catch out links to others and guage responses, especially after he pushed the 'neutral' idea. (Which to be honest, was accurate.) As we said in the beginning - the play he made could be town or scum, we just aren't experienced enough to tell if it was just his free-wheeling style or by intent, and that is what we were trying to determine.

@Vitek - We didn't exactly back off nmillar, we did research. If we make it to D2, Tweety will still be observing and testing - but if nmillar is the player we think, then there could still be benefits to town.

@town - our best value to town was gifted to us by Lift's shot - we are confirmed non-mafia. Second might be that since we are inexperienced we question everything and probably make observations from a different angle. So now a request - we pretty much anticipate we're a target. Don't use up a shot trying to save us, please, especially any single shots. Save those for more useful townies. You'll figure it out. ;)

Dunno what to make of the last 12 hours. Gym dug his own grave, but ZFR definitely gets the credit for the catch. I wonder if it was a staged distraction away from nmillar's intriguing claim offer, but it doesn't make sense unless zfr and nmillar and gym are scum so I think I must be suspecting WRONG

All caught up. It's done then. Unless GH is getting some final kick out of keeping the charade going which he has no other useful reason to, things might not be too great after all..

@GH, I'm pretty certain no one here did or said anything to you or about you with a malicious intent (well, outside of the context of the game that is). I hope you don't take the game personally and too serious and come out of it better and wiser for the next one (you did say you play for fun so hopefully you understand that pretty much everyone here is in for the same reason).

@Trent, sorry to hear about your injury. I hope it's nothing serious. Is this what you were trying to do?


I moved a ton of furniture today so I'm going to crash now, there isn't much else to do anyway while waiting for Trent to wrap the day up. Whatever happens good luck to everyone. Goodnight!

Well, thankfully no fracture. Swelling of my foot should be better by tomorrow (hopefully). Until then I just need to stay off of the foot if possible. Good news I say :)

Bill smiles and says "For me!! Sweet!" he grabs the package, tugs on the bow, and lifts the lid.
"SPROING!!!!!"
A giant boxing glove springs out and hits Bill right in the face flinging him back against the wall like Bugs from earlier. Again a giant knot appears on his head with birds swirling around.

"Oooohhhh, he's gonna feel that for awhile" Says Yosemite Sam
"Oh wow man what a zonk on the head that was" says Cool Cat
Tweety flies over and joins the birds circling Bill's head until two men run in with a stretcher and load Bill up and carry him out.
