blotunga: What I don't like about RVS is that I'm never sure if we're really out or not. I mean so far we still have no real leads. Yes Pooka made a small slip, but that might be just like my vote for @lift in the previous game on his joke no-lynch comment.
The only other notable thing is, that you were the first to cast a second vote on someone. On pooka, to be precise. But after clearing up our misunderstanding, that's nothing alignment indicative either.

Anyway, are we out of RVS? Do we have anything else to analyse? So far I have seen just a lot of fluff and nothing conclusive. Interestingly nobody jumped on pooka's "wagon". It might be wifom but might mean one of two:
a) Experienced scum, holding back
b) Pooka is in scumteam so they don't want to draw too much attention

ZFR: In post 31, Lift himself wrote that no one would take you seriously. Yet post 20 and 24, he explained it to you as if he was taking you seriously.
avatar
Lifthrasil: I was joining in his game. As I said, I didn't expect anyone to take it seriously, since basing current probability on past draws is quite preposterous. So I thought it would be obvious that his reasoning was jokey. So I was berating him for his false thinking, just to have something to talk about, without believing that he actually meant his false argument.
So you were just playing along...

I wrote eariler that scum!Pooka wouldn't draw attention to himself, crazy partner protection theories aside. But what if Pooka thought *you* were already on RW's case, and he though he was joining you.

blotunga: Anyway, are we out of RVS?
Does it feel like we are out? Or you? Have you set on someone yet?

As for Pooka's "wagon", my personal opinion is that it was based on pretty flimsy reasoning so yes, I doubt any self-respecting scum would risk to try and kick-start that if it hasn't picked up on its own.

I don't get what you mean by that. Can you elaborate a bit more?

Exactly what you said:

I still don't understand. How would they draw attention to themselves or better yet, why would they vote their buddy at all for something as weak as this on literally D1?
Current thoughts:
1. RWarehall's vote isn't scummy, because if he were scum it would be too obvious.
2. Pooka's post isn't scummy, because if he were scum it would be too obvious.
3. Blotunga's vote isn't scummy, because if he were scum it would be too obvious.

So we have three players whose posts aren't obviously scummy, but obviously that doesn't mean they aren't obvious scum, obviously. We may be out of Random Voting Stage, but we seem to be in Vandom Roting Stage. We have players to discuss, but the cases against them are flimsy at best.

Exactly what I said. That if he were scumteam they wouldn't.
But maybe an inexperienced scum would've continued the "wagon" if Pooka is town.

I see. So that was a somewhat meaningless/obvious remark then. I thought it was more than that and I was missing the point.
trent, did you announce when D1 is ending?

Hm. I didn't think of that but it's possible. If he thought I was serious, that may have been tempting to join for an easy show of 'hunting' activity.

@Pooka: one way or the other you are a person of interest now. You've been silent since your explanation about hating RVS. ... Shouldn't you be more active now that we're out of your hated phase? Please share some thoughts. What are your insights gathered from the discussion you kicked off?

That's called Day 1.

Except when someone claims they were scum with somebody but have been rerolled. Or quotes a fake "Doctor Townie" PM. Or makes a single post and leaves for the Day. Or...

Right. Care to do any of those to liven things up?

ZFR: trent, did you announce when D1 is ending?
I have not, but it will not be within the next couple of days (Sunday here in the US). Beyond that I make no guarantees but will give at least 24 hour notice.
