Lifthrasil: Although I am sad that ZFR didn't answer to my RVS question about his RVS vote. I'm afraid ZFR doesn't like me anymore and ignores me! :-(
avatar
ZFR: I want to hunt the kitsunes. Not get them excited.
As GR pointed out: you HAVE to get them excited so that they reveal themselves if you want to hunt them. So your statement is self-contradictory.
avatar
GameRager: Could be, or Pooka could be scum & doing so to keep other kitsune from being more easily seen/accused....who knows at this point.
Do you think someone was getting close to getting seen/accused so Pooka felt the need to step in and take some of the heat?

avatar
ZFR: Th2re only one other kitsune (barring heavy bastardy9, so there is no way outing oneself for the dubious benefit of keeping your partner from "being more easily seen(??)" is even close to being beneficial.
This is also a good point.

avatar
GameRager: Maybe it's a seasoned player as scum with Pooka and they are using Pooka as a distraction? Hmm....
Would you say someone other than himself drove Pooka in this situation? If yes, who and when? If not, how would they be using him like that?

avatar
ZFR: Since then it's been only used twice: once by blotunga and now by you. Both times I was picked.
I'm curious what your and Blotunga's alignments were the first time.

avatar
PookaMustard: I know dedo is busy with work, but he seems awfully quiet even by his standards this game. And I haven't seen a post from Joe at all.
You have no idea about my standards. I'm extremely quite, I was among the most active players a while back and now look at me... Work, baby and general laziness has gotten the best of me.

As for RW who allegedly made a move upon my person - yeah, no. Just no,.

I have another page of posts to go through. I'll be back after I finish preparing dinner.

Dunno....at the start of most games(and even a bit into the games) I mostly just watch for any tells and throw darts at the board to pick votes when I can't find anything obvious to base a vote on. :\

He was Town, I was Mafia (the unbeatable duo) - trent's previous game.

JoeSapphire: Hello everybody! Hope this will be a fun game :-)
avatar
GameRager: Bah, that's not how you play...you're supposed to talk silly the first day then everyone starts pointing fingers and acting all serious every day after that.

Since you don't seem to know how to play despite you being knowledgeable about the game:

avatar
GameRager: Good points...so far Joe has made some silly posts without much substance and not much else.
What's all this, boy? You need some sense smackin into you?
avatar
JoeSapphire: 3. The mafias are ZFR and Agent
avatar
Lifthrasil: Nice. Game solved. Well done. ... But how did you come to that conclusion? Any chance you might be wrong?
Thank you,
I'll play the strong, silent type and leave you guessing.

There's a CHANCE I'm wrong, but I've got good strong feelings about this one.

Eh, i've had worse...bring it on gramps. o.0

That is only possible if you are a PR(but there's been no "night" yet so how could you check into them if that were the case?) or another scum/neutral that knows they are also scum/etc. Unless you are town & just guessing based on one of their posts or some other reason?
Alright who've we got?

RedFireGaming - suks, as has been established beyond reasonable doubt
GameRager - contradictory, somewhat-aggressive, cheerful - Not Alignment Indicative
RWareHall - Can't remember what he said. Sensible?
Dedoporno - reasonable, Not Alignment Indicative
ZFR - Interested in random.org. Not Alignment Indicative? Maybe less indignant about pooka's accepted use of random.org than I might have expected... if I was to look for something.
Lifthrasil - kindly, cheerful, sensible with a playful streak. Would date again.
Pooka - dragged us out of RVS before some players had even had a chance to say hi. Town points?

One more... sorry. Oh yeah Carr! of course - the other mafio

AgentCarr - Has he written anything? I can't remember sorry.

aaaaaand - Joe - Strong start - on course for a memorable town victory.
avatar
PookaMustard: I don't feel that way regarding FoS. It's a good way of being serious with your suspicion without giving scum an opportunity to abuse your vote. I do agree that it's too early to FoS when the scumteam is more than outnumbered right now.
An better way of being serious with your suspicion is actually voting as that is the only action that actually does something. FOS is a waste of time and a shade for scum to try and hide in. A real Town player should be more concerned about finding scum then for scum potentially abusing their vote.

This feels familiar somehow.

First bit: that stance would be more applicable if we had less players and it was further into the game....on the first day it's just as valid a tactic as using random*org as we have low likelihood of even hitting scum the first day in many games.

2nd bit: What do you mean/how so?

3rd bit: Lol, and also saved...nice find.

agentcarr16: Yes, I've written something.
So you did, sorry about that.

Don't feel too bad. At least I remembered that I'd forgotten you. Blotunga didn't even get on the list. :|

Carr - grabbed hold of Pooka's hand as Pook dragged us out of RVS.
Blotunga - came back at Pooka in a manner that rubbed others up the wrong way, Blotunga's on track for a perfect town victory.

Precisely. It's pointless and does nothing while appearing as it does to the untrained eye. Worrying about scum abusing Town votes is also only a concern later in the game.

GameRager: 2nd bit: What do you mean/how so?
I remember at least 2 occasions in past games where Joe came up with a complete list pretty much straight out of the door. One time he was Town and was at least partially if not fully wrong. The other time he was scum and was fully wrong (from Town's perspective, that is). That isn't AI though, but it is somewhat consistent with what I've seen from him before.

They could also just as easily get a wagon started on someone once a few vote are placed on someone....i'd rather not risk that and some might feel the same.

Also most of day 1 is pointless...your point? ;)

Ok then.....still, even a lucky man can get unlucky so i'm not gonna put 100% stock in his picks for now.

I also tend to vote one of the people on my list and stick with that vote for the majority of the day. What do you reckon? Should I change tactics this time round?
