Ciris: You know those old RPGs where you had no map, but instead had to seek out quests on your own, without obvious quest markers and arrows and all that bull byproducts (as classic RPG lovers may call them) that are must-haves nowadays?

We were inspired by the TRUE classics when designing the forum. We thought you guys would appreciate it. ;)
That's one way to look at the poor job you've done with the forum functionality.

On another note - do you happen to know who we need to contact about the new avatars breaking HTTPS on our GOG account pages?

HypersomniacLive: I guess that it has not occurred to you that some people prefer to use different tags and credentials across sites...

Good thing I don't have a CDPR account then. I hope it won't ever become a prerequisite to keep using GOG.
Indeed. +1
So if I was using the same username on both then it shouldn't be a problem. Only now the password will be the same...

I'm sorry, I was just trying to humorously explain an issue to lighten the mood, since I can't actively do anything about it at this moment (and wouldn't know how to go about it myself).

In case of any issues with the site or games or anything else, support is the #1 place to go. Additionally, I'll ask internally if there's any issue we know of that's causing that to happen.
So the forums are being fused together with traits of each? Like, say, Brundlefly?

I think only the accounts are merged so that everyone only has one account for all CD Projekt Red stuff. The forums will stay seperate. At least that is how I understand it and I hope that it is true :D

l0rdtr3k: Found you,snowkatt! Time for a hug!*runs after snowkatt*

snowkatt: well it would explain it yes

and what about those of us who have no cd projekt red account ?

No chance! Leave snowkatt to run wild as it pleases! This rare species is under protection!

Well, the new default avatars and other weirdness made me wonder if they tried some kind of uncomfortable merger.

Will we witness the second coming of Legion?

No, account systems are being fused, not forums. If you never had an account on the CDPR forums, you'll be able to use your GOG.com account to log in there (well, really, you'll be using your GOG Galaxy account, since that's what it is since the log in overhaul - instead of the CDPR forums having a separate account system, they'll all get GOG Galaxy accounts, and thus be able to log in on GOG).

It does seem quite logical to tie avatars to accounts.

Where will all my sex conquest cards be displayed?

There doesn't seem to be room under my avatar.

Cause there are a lot.

What rough beast, its time come at last, slouches towards Warsaw to be born?

It's the changes in avatars that made me wonder if a code merger was happening.

we are aware fo that but support is not being very helpfull at the moment
and you are currently the only blue around here

so i am afraid you may have to bear the brunt of our disgruntlement

stil if you can ask around and provide us with the awnsers we sorely need that woudl be very well helpfull

I'd still bet it's mostly changing in the account management back-end system, not web front-end.
