FearfulSymmetry: Well, if we're looking at the same restoration mod, it says "To take full advantage of the mod's features, you should load a save prior to beginning Morrigan's character quest. If you've accepted it but not yet visited Flemeth's hut that's fine too." So it's up to you really, although you'll get the most out of it with an earlier save. Also, beware when installing other dialogue fixes - some of them conflict with each other and can mess up options in your game. In general, always read all the documentation on a mod before installing it.
All I want is Morrigan's Dialoge fix along with a mod that fixes a graphical glitch where a sword looks like another:

This sword from Awakening

http://img4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110224021346/dragonage/images/7/70/Vigilance_%28longsword%29.png

Ends up looking like this with the Warden's Keep DLC installed:

http://img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110224021027/dragonage/images/a/ad/Starfang_%28longsword%29.png

Thats a very specific Gltich if I ever seen one :p

Well, then you should be fine just installing it if you haven't started Morrigan's personal quest yet. I just wanted to warn you in case you were thinking about installing dialogue fixes for the other characters. :)

Alright I reinstalled the whole game so now there should be no issue with installing the mod.

Right now I need some advice on how to install the Morrigan Restoration Patch, does it work well for the EA Origin version of the game?
Mods, yes. Squares, no. Squares are real L7, daddio!
You don't need to buy an account on Nexus. Just register and use manual downloading and the free servers. That's what i do.

Don't have any experience with the Origin version, as I have the game on Steam myself, but it should not be much different. Download your mod, go to where you installed the game (there's probably an Origin folder), then drop the file in packages/core/override. That's it!

But there was no "install" action afterward the readme did not say sucha thing to happen I did see a progress bar loading and mod saying "You have successfully installed the mod" and so far nothing has changed from what I have played through so far (right now I am in a romance with Morrigan and so far it feels the same without it) the only way I can be sure is if after I beat Flemeth the Grimior will appear in Quest items not gifts and the resulting cutscene when I come back to camp should occur.

If you used a dazip file to install the mod, start the game and go to "Downloadable Content". Switch to the "Installed" tab and then look for the patch on the list and check if its' active or not.

I downloaded the Manual Version of the mod:

"Installation - Manual install
=============================
Unzip/Unrar the Morrigan_Restoration_Patch directory into your "My DocumentsBiowareDragon Agepackagescoreoverride" directory.

But when I did it, it did not perform an "install" feature. Like what I said above with a Progress bar should be appearing.

Yep, the poster above me is right. I forgot about dazip files. Those should indeed be as simple as installing them and checking whether they're activated in downloadable content, which usually happens automatically. And yes, with a mod like this, it might take a while to see changes.

EDIT: if, as you say above, it wasn't a dazip, then plopping it in the correct folder should work, and no, you won't get a notice, because you haven't actually installed it. All the file is doing is overriding other files, making sure that the fixes are implemented.

So it did not work? Than how do I properly "install" it?

I still have them in the override folder and checked every single thing and yet no knowledge of how to install it.

Or did it work?

It should be working. You did unrar the file, right? And put the folder with the restoration patch into override? Then everything should be implemented.

Well yes I extracted them and the contents are in the Override folder (The override folder was empty before hand mind you)

I also have another mod installed that suppose to fix a glitch in which this sword:

http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Vigilance_%28longsword%29

For some reason looks like this ingame:

http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Starfang_(Longsword)

I extracted the file into the Core folder and again no "install" occured.
