It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Namur: If you used a dazip file to install the mod, start the game and go to "Downloadable Content". Switch to the "Installed" tab and then look for the patch on the list and check if its' active or not.

Elmofongo: I downloaded the Manual Version of the mod:

But when I did it, it did not perform an "install" feature. Like what I said above with a Progress bar should be appearing.
If you installed it manually no progress bar should have appeared because you're basically just doing a copy/paste of files into the override folder.

When available try to install the dazip version of mods for DAO, the mod install tool is already in the game folder (daupdater.exe) and you have a lot more control since mods installed this way behave like DLC - you can activate or deactivate any mod at will in the DLC menu.

The mod is likely working though, no reason not to be, it's just that you haven't hit a place in the game where you can notice the changes.

FearfulSymmetry: Everything should be working fine, then. :)

Elmofongo: I also have another mod installed that suppose to fix a glitch in which this sword:

http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Vigilance_%28longsword%29

For some reason looks like this ingame:

http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Starfang_(Longsword)

I extracted the file into the Core folder and again no "install" occured.
That's normal, because you're not actually installing things, just overriding files. You're basically telling the game to ignore the original data in favour of the modded fixes. Only when using a dazip (which you are not, in this case) are you actually installing something.

I will notice once I face Flemeth and get the Black Grimior which in this mod is suppose to be in the Quest Items section of the Inventory and not a Gift. Or if I turn in Morrigan to the Templars in the finale of the Circle Tower quest.

When you do let me know if you think it is worth it, i don't think i've ever tried that one.

Well here is the mod anyway because seriously alot of pretty cruicial plot elements got cut:

Also for its own sake try this mod to fix this Powerful Longsword in the Awakening Expac:

http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Vigilance_%28longsword%29#Bugs

Because really it is a badass looking longsword:

YES I can confirm the mod works, I visited Flemeth's hut and instead of fighting her I just did what she said and let her go in return for her Grimoire and the thing appeared in the Quest/Plot Item section. Instead of appearing as a "Gift"

Now I get to experiance a much better storyline that is more complete.

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned, but if you didn't yet, get the Dragon Age Mod manager program. It makes life a bit easier. Programs are DAModder and DAO mod manager.
