EDIT: I reinstalled Dragon Age Origins so modding it will be easy, I like some tips on how to install the Morrigan Restoration Patch on how to do it? Same with the Vigilance/Starfang Sword graphics fix?

Original OP:

Just now I have discovered that Dragon Age Origins even with the Ultimate Edition has content removed or bugged. Perticularly many missing dialoge with Morrigan, there is this Mod called the Morrigan Restoration Patch that restores so many dialoge and other content missing from the game. My question is this, I am already deep in the game currently in the Circle Tower right now and already have a romance with Morrigan, do I have to start a fresh campaign to utilized the mod? Or it does not matter and my Save file will not get corrupted?

Another mod I want is the VIgilance Sword fix where this Sword in the Awakening Expansion has the Appearance of a Sword you get in Warden's Keep?

So delete the save files, uninstall and re-install the whole game and than add the mods?

"Sigh"

Tomorrow for me.

Well maybe not the game, try it first.Had the same sort of problems with Skyrim..
There were a few good quest mods that took place in their own separate worlds. I forgot the name but they were rated highly on the Bioware network thing.

Do I have to sign into Nexus? I need an account to even download mods?

I was talking about if installing this Morrigan Mod will not have problems in a playthrough in progress. I was at the circle tower. But I decided to delete the save files and uninstall the game. Because I just think Mods work when the game is freshly installed.

Using the Nexus is free. Paying for a premium account is purely optional.

As far as installation instructions, read the readme, read the nexus page, and ask questions there if you have any.
"All modifications on Nexus sites are provided free of charge although downloading files above a certain file size requires the user registers with a free account to the site for security and site functionality purposes."

From this page at the Nexus: http://www.nexusmods.com/games/about/about/?

This.

Nexus is, as noted, free. No need to pay anything. And the Readme file for the mod should tell you whether you need to start a new game or not. I know I've installed some mods on DA:O during a game in progress and had no issues (can't recall which ones offhand, but I think there was a helmet mod I used that worked on an in-progress game).

I played the Dragon Age mods before Nexus had a good system for adding them to Dragon Age. I bet there are a ton of good ones by now.

Got the Lifelong payment option too. When I check how many mods i've downloaded for DA:O/Oblivion/Skyrim, I'm really glad I did
Well, if we're looking at the same restoration mod, it says "To take full advantage of the mod's features, you should load a save prior to beginning Morrigan's character quest. If you've accepted it but not yet visited Flemeth's hut that's fine too." So it's up to you really, although you'll get the most out of it with an earlier save. Also, beware when installing other dialogue fixes - some of them conflict with each other and can mess up options in your game. In general, always read all the documentation on a mod before installing it.
