There will be another comics bundle from Groupees:
https://groupees.com/vip

Intended start date was yesterday but once again there are problems with uploading the files. Now it should start today or tomorrow. Oh, and it will include limited tiers, so probably some physical stuff ...

I don't get why Groupees seems to have such trouble with comic bundles. Either Groupess or several comic companies are messing up on negotiations and transfer of material data to allow bundles to go ahead. I really wonder where the problem is as the comic groups must be happy to do the bundles unless they are under some kind of long term contract deal with Groupees .

In the chat the Groupees people clearly say that they are ready but the content provider is not. Given the exact same problems last time I would guess it is another Top Cow bundle - especially since the Top Cow representative then mentioned that their next bundle would include physical tiers. Although I wouldn't have expected it so quickly after the last one (well, IF it finally comes), but I won't complain if it offers similar good value and hopefully even continues some of the series ...

Edit: From Groupees chat: "Publisher decided to take an extra week for whatever reason."

Seems to be some sort of sale going on for a ton of Marvel comics on Amazon. I first noticed Ultimate Spider-Man (Peter and Miles). I got about 7 volumes from about $1.50 to $3 CDN each.

Some weird listings though. You can find a print version of a volume and when you click on the Kindle version it switches to the *issue*. Not sure if that's a display bug or if they're actually selling the issue.

Who knows the whole "sale" could be a bug selling volumes at issue prices?

and it's live: https://groupees.com/vip (another Dynamite bundle) Hoping to find someone willing to cross-reference this..
At first glance, there are some repeats but also much new stuff. But of course the comic tiers are not THAT cheap ($10 and $20) this time. I will look into it in more detail tomorrow (here it is 10 PM right now) ...

It's not a bundle for me.
Not so much on price, but more on the fact that the first tier is mostly issue 1 and a few collections that I've either got or have no interest in and that follows through to the second tier. A good bundle overall and you can still get in on the previous two dynamite bundles at the higher prices if you want (which is a good deal for a vast boatload of comics)
high rated
Okay, I'll go into detail now about Groupees' "VIP Dynamite Bundle":

$10:
- "Army of Darkness: Furious Road" (#1-2 of 6, 2016; #1 was already featured in Groupees' "Pure Dynamite Bundle")
- "Shaft: Imitation of Life" (#1-2 of 4, 2016)
- "Wolfcop" (#1), ongoing (since 2016)
- "Evil Ernie: Godeater" (#1 of 5, 2016-2017)
- "The Green Hornet: Golden Age Re-Mastered" (#1-3 of 8, 2010-2011; reprints of stories from 1940)
- "Cage Hero" (#1-4, 2015-2016), complete mini-series
- "Homies" (#1 of 4, 2016-2017)
- "Will Eisner's The Spirit" (#1-6 of 12, 2015-2016)
- "Xena: Warrior Princess" (#1-2 of 4, 2016)
- "Peter Cannon: Thunderbolt" (#1-5 of 10, 2012-2013), the complete series was featured in Comixologys "Dynamite Masked Heroes Bundle"
- "Smosh" (#1-2 of 6, 2016; #1 was part of Groupees' "Pure Dynamite Bundle")
- "Red Sonja" (#0), ongoing (since 2016)
- "A Train Called Love" (#4-6 of 10; #1-3 were part of Groupees' "Pure Dynamite Bundle")
- "Lady Demon" (#1-4, 2014-2015), complete mini-series
- "Intertwined" (#1 of 6, 2016-2017)

$20:
- "Kiss" (#1), ongoing (since 2016)
- "Army of Darkness / Xena: Forever ... and a Day" (#1 of 6, 2016-2017)
- "Grand Passion" (#1 of 5, 2016-2017)
- "Control" (#1-2 of 6, 2016-2017; #1 was part of Groupees' "Pure Dynamite Bundle")
- "The Shadow: The Death of Margot Lane" (#1-2 of 5, 2016)
- "Pathfinder: Worldscape" (#1 of 6, 2016-2017)
- "Doc Savage: The Spider's Web" (#1-2 of 5, 2015-2016)
- "Dawn/Vampirella" (#1-5 , 2014-2015), complete mini-series; #1-2 were featured in Groupees' first Dynamite bundle
- "Dejah Thoris" (#1-6, 2016), complete mini-series (also known as "Dejah Thoris: Soldier of Memory")
- "Lady Rawhide/Lady Zorro" (#1-4, 2015), complete mini-series; was already part of Groupees' "Dynamite Bad Girls Comic Bundle"
- "Vampirella Magazine" (#1-4 of 113, reprints of stories from 1969 onwards; #1 was featured in a Humble Bundle as part of "Vampirella Masters Vol. 4")
- "The Six Million Dollar Man: Fall of Man" (#1 of 5, 2016)
- "The Great Divide" (#1 of 6, 2016-2017)
- "Red Team: Double Tap, Center Mass" (#1-4 of 9, 2016-2017)
- "Red Sonja: Vulture's Circle" (#1-5, 2015), complete mini-series; was already part of Groupees' "Women of Dynamite" bundle)
- "Bob's Burgers" (#1-4), ongoing (since 2015)

$50:
Dynamite Comic Bundle 3 + Women of Dynamite bundle

additional tiers for physical products, prices DO NOT INCLUDE (probably horrendous) shipping costs!

Since I don't own all earlier Dynamite bundles I might have overlooked some more repeats but I don't think it will be many.

What's good about the bundle:
1. many new comics (2016-2017)
2. five complete mini-series (and probably a few additional complete story arcs)
3. comparatively few repeats
4. it builds on earlier bundles, especially the "Pure Dynamite Bundle"

What's bad about the bundle:
1. too many single #1s and #2s
2. not only repeats from other sites like Humble Bundle or Comixology, but also from earlier Groupees bundles - including complete mini-series like the "Red Sonja" one. Not very nice ...
3. the prices are pretty high

All in all I'm unsure if to buy or not. If they continue the series they begin here in future bundles this one will certainly be worth it. But there are still some series unfinished from earlier Dynamite bundles so I wouldn't bet my life on it ...
One more thing to watch: Earlier Groupees Dynamite bundles got additional comics after they started so the bundle could get better. But I don't really think it derserves its name.

Thanks for the bundle analysis!

I agree - there is too little in new and interesting titles and too many partial arcs to justify this bundle for me, let alone its "VIP" name.

Overall, it feels like Groupees comic bundles keep failing more and more to stand up to the Humble bundle offerings. Shame.

I think its simply a result of the fact that Groupees is a small fish and Humble is a big fish so humble comes to the table with a bigger potential offer to the comic companies which in turn makes them more attractive as a bundle site. You can see that easily since Humble regularly out-sells Groupees in bundles.

Groupees kind of suffers because they do a lot of music that is often already on youtube; their games are generally not top or even mid-shelf. They'd need to seriously up their game if they wanted more serious bundles.

That and I susepct comic bundles are like Steam Sales - LOTS on offer; but once you've been through them a few times they lose their luster. They are for new customers rather than established. Still there's enough big franchises out there with long back-logs of comics outside of the DC/Marvel machine so there's still a lot of comic potential .

well I agree, though I disagree about the music already up on Youtube. Most music is already up on Youtube (and it's more about the curation than the actual exclusivity). The pure music bundles are great (with the exclusive tracks and early previews). It's the game bundles and bigger indie comic publisher bundles where Groupees can't compete (they do have the niche comics under their belt)
I have to correct myself: "Dawn/Vampirella" was announced as a six part mini-series, but it ended up only having five issues. So that's another complete mini-series in the bundle! I edited my "analysis post" accordingly.

letsmaybeLP92: Analysis of the Humble Valiant bundle? https://www.humblebundle.com/books/valiant-comics-book-bundle
Now that's a good bundle with good prices! It builds directly on the first Humble Valiant Bundle from 2014 and has ZERO direct repeats (although most, if not all of the "Zeroes & Origins Stuff" should be included throughout the various Volumes included in the earlier bundle). And those included "what happened before"-videos should enable those who missed the first bundle to enjoy the new one as well.
Only real problem: Those who bought the sole Groupees Valiant Bundle (I didn't because of too many repeats from the Humble Bundle) will already own probably half the bundle, especially the whole "Armor Hunters" storyline.
It would be great if the second week additions are "X-O Manowar Vol. 5" (one of three items from the Groupees bundle that are not part of the two Humble Bundles), "Harbinger Vol. 5", "Bloodshot Vol. 4-5" and "Archer & Armstrong Vol. 5" because that would complete Act Two of the Valiant Universe.

Comixology has a "Dynamite Men of Action Bundle" with 16 items for €8,99 Euro, off 68%:
https://www.comixology.eu/Dynamite-Men-of-Action-Bundle/bundle/1661

Maybe the bundle is regionally restricted since when I search for it it says "20 items", but if I click on it, there's only 16 ... Those are:

"Bullet to the Head" (#1-5 of 6)
"Garth Ennis' Battlefields: The Green Fields Beyond" (#1-3 of 6)
"Cage Hero" (#1-4, complete)
"Army of Darkness: Ash saves Obama" (#1-4, complete)

Well ... "Cage Hero" is in the current Groupees Dynamite bundle, "Army of Darkness" was in an earlier Humble Bundle, "Battlefields" was in another Humble Bundle and "Bullet to the Head" (all six issues) was in an earlier Comixology bundle. So it's safe to say: They won't get my money this time!

Edit: Hmm, completing "Bullet to the Head" and "Battlefields" would bring the bundle to 20 items, so maybe it's just a mistake that will be corrected soon?
