Question for those who might know - anyone know where one can find Cowboys and Aliens online? It seems to have done a vanishing act and its official websites are years out of date (or least the ones google threw up for me are).

Also anyone know if Comixology does a full page of their free comics? I know they've a recommended page but it doesn't list all of them. Thus far I have found this :
http://www.bleedingcool.com/2013/03/24/five-hundred-and-twenty-five-free-digital-comics-from-comixology/

Which is a little out-of date and a few are missing (or require searching as the original links don't work) and some are now paid-for (though mostly for small under £/$1 amounts). It's also rather a long list to go through, but there's some good free comics there and certainliy a good place to get started for some series

Comixology has had well over a thousand free comics over the years, but they are usually for a short time only.

Now, they maintain a free page linked on their home page of ~100 freebies. This list usually changes at least once a week, titles being added and removed. Hit add all to make sure you get all 4 pages of them.

The best way to find most of the current several hundred freebies is to do separate searches for the following terms, and then looking through the individual pages of issues, one shots, extras, etc etc. Very time consuming, but once you do this once all the new freebies will likely be linked in this thread.

I just spotted a 142-page collection, the Green Lantern Corps (2006-2011): Sins of the Star Sapphire, for less than 1 euro: https://www.comixology.eu/Green-Lantern-Corps-2006-2011-Sins-of-the-Star-Sapphire/digital-comic/101878

It seems to be a prelude to Blackest Night. I think someone here (maybe ET3D) mentioned reading Blackest Night and not enjoying it because it lacked a good chunk of background information and it was mostly battles, so you might want to check it out.

Or maybe that user was talking about The Sinestro Corps War. Man, my memory sucks. And the search function of this forum too. :D

Well, anyway, it's a good deal.

This is odd. This 142 page GL Corps collection doesn't show up in the list of Green Lantern sale items, but when I hit "add all to cart" it appears for 99 cents. It collects issues 27-32. I think I already owned those issues, but, for $.74, I couldn't resist.

Week two of the Marvel Firsts sale adds another two girl hero books for $.99 each.

Andanzas: Don't read them in October, TrevorWilliams. Read them now. And you too, ET3D. That way you can share your opinions before the sale is over. :D
Looks like the sale is still on. Anyway, I read House of the Worm, and it's okay, nothing great but not terrible either. Should have been continued, it's basically an introduction to the world.

From all the comics I bought in recent months, Fables is the one I enjoy most. It's simply the best written. I also enjoyed Mercy Thompson, but it just made me want to read the book, and so I stopped reading it.

Thanks. Well, it was The Sinestro Corps War, but I mentioned Blackest Night in that post. Since that was also a preview to Blackest Night, I thank you for giving me yet another angle on this for a low price. Perhaps I'll enjoy this one better.

Geoff Johns run on Green Lantern is a lot of fun (I personally really enjoyed Sinestro Corps War); $0.99 for the Sins of Star Sapphire collection is an epic deal (although I admit I haven't yet read that arc in the series).

This is at least the second time there's been a pricing error on DC trades (Fables: Werewolves of the Heartland was similarly $0.99).
New freebie at Comixology.

New Humble Bundle on Neil Gaiman miscellany, including some comics. It's apparently breaking records in that the average price keeps rising well above the highest tier.

Last day of the Groupees Valiant Bundle - and I'm still undecided ... According to a reading order I googled, it looks like the Humble Bundle covered the whole Act 1 of the "Valiant universe" plus parts of Act 2. The Groupees Bundle contains parts of Act 1, Act 2 and Act 3 (including the whole Armor Hunters event, as was pointed out already) but there are still parts of Act 2 missing. Man, I really can't decide. Maybe it's better to wait for another Humble Valiant Bundle that directly continues the first one?

I hate decisions! ;-)
