Rixasha: I've gotten a few comic bundles from Humble and they've been nice. Perhaps I want more comics. Are there other good sources that are DRM free?
Image has its own site where they sell PDFs for almost the cover price but they don't sell collections and I had some trouble in the past locating certain issues. Also, the site can be awfully slow.

By the way, DriveThruComics is having a X-mas in July discount of 25% in a lot of comics. Not impressive but 25% in a collection might be nice still.

Indeed. I've been taking advantage of that sale to load up on some good titles. Plus it induced me to add a few other titles I might have missed, which is what a good sale does.

Comixology announced on their Tumblr that they'll be selling one book per day for $.45 during ComicCon. Today's book is the normally $10 trade Amelia Cole volume 1, use code Amelia.

Amazon has the kindle version of the original Detective 27 (just the 9 page Batman story actually, as per the norm on some of these golden age books) for free.

Image Comics has a 50% sale until July 28th

Valid in their own store, comixology, Google Play and iBooks.

In ImageComics.com the discount appears after adding comics to the cart. I don't know how it's being handled in other stores.

I think this is just the same sale that's been going on for a few days. Not everything, just select 'best sellers'.

Comixology announces DRM-free backups for Image, Top Shelf, Dynamite, Monkeybran, Thrillbent

I already got an email:

You are receiving this email because we now offer DRM-free backups of one or more of the books you've purchased on comiXology. You can now download and store PDF or CBZ copies of those books.
And check the attachments, the backups are there.

Damn, I did not wanted to spend more money on comics this month but I'll have to pick some after all.

Joe Hill is turning into a great writer and The Cape is good, but is very dark in tone so it might not be for everyone. A great catch at this price.
