That living world mechanic has really intrigued me, might back this.

It was announced from the get got (in the Kickstarter campaign) that they were going to do a multiplayer free-to-play in order to test and balance combat.

I KNOW that. However they put a helluva lot of time into it, which does make a lot of backers wonder about the single player (the reason why the KS was done in first place)

I wasn't sure of that because a lot of people didn't really understand that. Yes, it took time but better late than never. And if it means that they were able to make great combat as well as test the robustness of their technology, then I prefer it that way. We'll know for sure in january.

The thing i dont understand is, the multiplayer is vs other people (there isnt a skirmish mode i think..), not AI which is arguably going to be more important than the actual combat mechanics this supposedly tests for
I'll be keeping an eye on Banner Saga. The vids they released looked good.
Wings: Remastered Edition - 2nd run for a remake of the original Cinemaware Amiga classic Wings.
Curious if anyone knows if there is a limit to when you can withdraw a pledge on Kickstarter? I seem to remember seeing somewhere the last 24 hours or so you can reduce but not withdraw your pledge... confirmation anyone?

If the Kickstarter is in the last 24 hours and removing your pledge would cause it to drop below funded, you can't remove it. I think I read that in the JA:F kickstarter, though not really sure about its source. I think you can safely reduce it, as long as it won't cause the KS to drop below 100% funded.
