Grand Vizier HR must be happy right now ;)
So the game is currently 10 v Lifthrasil.

Lifthasil's looking for players to screw over by forcing them on to his sinking ship, while avoiding the deadly rebels.

So we need to TRICK Lifthrasil into NOT avoiding the deadly rebels by... not derpclearing ourselves for starters.

OKAY EVERBODY STOP TALKING AND START READING THE RULES

Cadaver747: Imam is some kind of neutral SK who target only opposition.
Imam is not "neutral" SK. He's the "voice" of the protesters, but otherwise precisely like them. Becomes a loyalist if elected; wins with rebels otherwise.

I want to say derpclear ;) But if this was really a derpclear I wouldn't mention it. I'm not making Lift's job easier by scumhunting for him.
I think I'd be good with me and Joe. I don't think he's running a con.

Has Lift got dead yet?

Lift, did you got dead?

LIFT!?

but see fig. 1. We're the obvious choice by way of being so charming and handsome. Which means the rebels and protesters will nominate us for execution in the intrigue phase. So Lift will have to risk nominating a rebel again, and one of us will have lost the game.

So our best option is to convince lift we're NOT worthy of nomination.
Publicly clarifying a few questions

1. The Commander of the Guard can protect the Grand Vizier from assassination, including if he appoints a rebel to government.
2. The Supreme Judge has the power to decide between any player that is accused or nominated. This ability doesn't refresh if someone new takes the position
3. If the Imam is appointed to government, another protester is randomly chosen to be the new Imam.
4. During the special court phase, there is no discussion allowed. Only votes.
5. If a player is killed, their allegiance is publicly revealed.

Alas, it is one of the unfortunate drawbacks of being so dashing and suave.

But c'mon kid... you wanna live forever?
I'm gonna accidentally derp clear myself.

yogsloth: That's basically how I'm thinking this is supposed to play out from a "Town" perspective

ZFR: From my perspective it's best if ZFR wins. At the moment its best bet is if Lift chooses 2 rebels.

@Lift, you won't consider it? If you do, then 91% of the players win. In record time. You can't get better odds.
If you tell me who the rebels are, this might be a viable way for the greatest average good. So, are you a rebel and if so, who is your fellow Janissary?

DON'T TRUST HIM ZFR HE'S TRYING TO TRICK YOU

You caught me. It's Joe.

But wait, if it works, we'll still win

Because if the two rebels are picked, everybody wins

except Lift, he loses

and Lift does the picking

so if we know who the two sheepshaggers are right from the jump, we can just kill them and then everybody wins except them

How exactly are you going to kill them?
