By executing them.

I think if we kill the rebels everybody loses except lift and his sinking ship.

Imam, bolstered by INTRIGUE, nominates one for election. Then we all vote for them.

ummm

And I guess anybody on the town council of very important penguins

so

we'd have to...

wait

If we did get two charming protestors onto the council

and knew who the two fat-bottomed girls were from the jump

we could execute one each "night" phase, but only get... five total on the council, which would mean the majority of players would vote against that, because only bourgeois assholes like ourselves would win

which means...

um

Lifthrasil: By executing them.
You can execute only from your faction and if you choose a rebel you'll die prematurely, your excelency.

yogsloth: I was thinking about pushing them outta windows, little girl
On Day 1 you can be either a protester / protester (imam) or rebel (full-on protester). Your suggestion to execute rebels will mean your death. Unless by "sheep..." you meant something else. I wish I haven't checked the term on Wikipedia.
Previously you claimed to be a Town (commoner?), so I really don't understand what are you trying to get by this.

Only IF Lithrasil will not appoint Imam into his domain.

zazak09: Setup

Grand Vizier (loyalist)

- Once per intrigue phase, you may instantly execute a member of your own faction
WAIT WHAT LOL

yogsloth: WAIT WHAT LOL
1. Lith (all hail our beloved Vizier!) lives, he got 2 loyal guys in government for security on Day 1, on Day 2 he mistakenly hire a rebel while security negates the the murder attempt, he most certainly will execute the newcomer.

2. Lith is dead, newly appointed Vizier is killing old government.

If Imam is appointed to council, another protester becomes the new Imam (chosen at random I guess?)

yeah, the benefit of the Vizier's execution is unclear. I think it's generally not to be used?

Oh duh. I forgot that once the Vizier was assassinated, a new one is appointed. AND that a Vizier can be saved from assassination by their commander.

So the vizier's assassination power is to root out a serpent in office.

a) if he hired a Jimmy Thudpucker, he'd be assassinated and would no longer have a choice. He can't issue that command if he's dead

b) it specifically says "a member of your own faction", which an M. Knight Shalamalamadingdong would not be... he can only execute Loyalists, i.e., converted... whatever we are, minor nobles

this makes no farkin sense at all lmao

He would only appoint someone new on Day 2 if one of his team got assassinated or executed?

I'm assuming it should read "goverment"?

note also:
"- After the end of the first court session, you must select two players to join your faction."

And that the vizier can be saved from assassination by a loyal commander.
The Grand Vizier can execute any member of the government. Sorry for the confusion.

I had no idea!

@Zazak
Is it so?

a) Lithrasil hires 2 normal guys, or 1 normal and 1 rebel > normal guy was chosen for security guard
a1. and saved Vizier's life > meaning another one is impostor
a2 someone killed Vizier's bodyguard > meaning another one might be an impostor
Result: execute another one

b) newly appointed Vizier become loyalist and he know that previous Vizier was killed by hidden rebel (impostor), he don't know what is the culprit but most surely he will start executing his staff starting from security guard.

OK, so this ability is specifically for the 2nd (and subsequent) viziers, since the first one would be dead before he knew this ability was needed

lol

The first vizier has a really rough ride in a game like this. I bet the win rate is pretty minuscule.

OK, well, anyway, I'm a minor noble. Do with that whatever the fudgepuppy you want, any of youse. Somebody ping me when I need to make a decision of some kind, and then explain to me what I'm supposed to do in very small words.

It's getting difficult to follow whom you mean. Can you use actual terms?
