supplementscene: Because both Rebels and the Imam have the same goal - get the most likely cabinet player. Lift's goal is to get the players he thinks are more likely to be Rebels.
Yeah, but they don't know who each other are and don't have any communication. There's no way to coordinate anything.
It could well be that I did or said something that made Lift suspect me of being a rebel while someone else suspected me of being in government and the remaining party suspected Joe.
supplementscene: Joe asks questions of Lift that are not in Lift's interest. Either for distancing or at a laughable attempt at getting Lift to help him. But I tend to think it's the latter, am I underestimating your good friend? Maybe
Do you think Joe is in government? I don't. So therefore it makes sense that Lift nominated Joe and the Imam and Rebels nominated yourself.
I don't particularly think Joe is in government, but nothing about the nominations precludes both of us being protesters. Lift would only nominate someone not in government, but you can't reverse that and say "I think Joe isn't in government and therefore must have been nominated by Lift". If none of the accused are in government then Lift could have nominated any.
