sxnc: Geez this "remastered" trend is picking up. I can see this being more beneficial to the current gen consoles, these games looked spectacular on PC already... unless WB is kind enough to *ahem* sell these on GOG? :-)
And they will still look better on pc compared to the next...uhm current gen consoles.

Well, I do have 3,3 Ghz. Now that you mention it, that IS pretty close to the 3,2 Ghz the game wants. Guess I may be just close enough.

stg83: This is different though not just an upscale for console but actual new gameplay content has been added that wasn't available before:

- Vergil, Lady & Trish are playable characters. [VERGIL GAME] for Vergil and [LADY/TRISH GAME] for Lady/Trish.
- You can select those characters from Nero/Dante's missions after you clear them the first time.
- Legendary Dark Knight mode added in all releases of DMC4SE.
- Each new character in DMC4SE has a new Opening and Ending movie.

Thought WTH they look good on PC but then saw it's about consoles only. not using those so don't care.

Yeah, I think the worst is where you hear developers limiting games to 30 fps and below 1080p because of "reasons". Of course they don't want PC's outshining their console counterparts!

It's the "cinematic experience".....well i believe that the new consoles a just too weak for modern games.

Isn't it kinda weird how the console's hardware is technically weaker than high end PC's yet they are the go-to standard in determining how "modern" a AAA game should be? Probably not for all games but when you consider how big the market is in video game consoles developers are going to look how to make their game first on those platforms.

I think it's even more heartbreaking when you hear things like Sony funding Bloodborne's development with the catch that it's a PS4 exclusive game. Which from a business standpoint makes total sense, it just sucks for those who don't have a PS4.

Actually i doubt that the business standpoint makes sense because on the one hand there is the possibility of increased sales of the PS4 while on the other hand there won't be any revenues from other platforms which actually might be larger.

stg83: The first two Batman games are among my favorite action/adventure games but I don't really care either way about these so called remasters. People that want to waste their money can buy it on PS4/Xbox One and others can just get them really cheap on PC if they still haven't played these. I am still hoping for a complete edition of Batman: AO on PC even though I know its not the best in the series.

Also would love to see the Batman Arkham games DRM Free here on GOG, that would be really awesome.

Yes, hopefully in the near future we can get the games on GOG and in the meantime we should make a stronger case by voting on the wishlist. :)
