Haven't played the EEs in a while but did they put the cutscenes back in or improved with new ones?

The cut scenes were made at a primary school. The cardboard ones were still there the last time I played.
It's hard to remember because it was all so bad and I just tried to forget what I played. I do remember the opening cut scene being nothing but a series of bad drawings and the rest of the crap BD added felt like bad mods.

There is (was?) a mod that restores the old cutscenes but the website is down. It was here
http://www.shsforums.net/topic/55573-mod-bg-ee-classic-movies/

But the link does not work anymore...

The new custcenes look like they were made for a school project over a couple of afternoons, not by professionals. They are so bad it is really hard to comprehend how their creators could have looked at them and objectively be happy with them... I know we always take pride in what we do but damn, once you are professional you should be able to see through your own personal bias and be able to judge whether it is objectively good or bad. When I first started the game and saw the new intro I was left speechless.

Like I said it's been a while since I played the EEs but I have to agree with your assessment.

Reever: Damn, never thought they'd do something like this. So does Beamdog now have the rights for this, or why can they be bundled like that?

Also think it's a shit move. I mean, I got the originals already, but for people who only want to get those...

And it was also done with no announcement or anything, right? Meh.

richlind33: Beamdog has the support of Wizards of the Coast, which has also fallen under the spell of SJW fanaticism.
Why do you MRA morons keep coming in here and whining about irrelevant nonsense? Beamdog's terrible business decisions aren't about "SJWs" and "trigger warnings". That is an entirely different complaint that you keep trying to force into an unrelated discussion. They completely broke their own Enhanced Editions, then bundled the originals into them so that you can't avoid them. That is ridiculous and unjustifiable, but it has nothing to do with your hatred of women or liberals.

Go back to reddit if you want to complain about how hard it is to be a man.

Why is it that nowadays, people just inject SJ in games for no reason? Games are meant to be fun and not a reason to bash someone just because we have different orientations on things.

Good thing I'm not into this Gamergate/SJW nonsense. If all people adopt this SJW nonsense, WW3 can happen soon. Just a thought.
I remember when game/book/comic book, etc writers were more clever about how they put political comments in their writing.

Remember Walt Kelly and Pogo? I loved Pogo, and still do.

Not so far-fetched when you look at how reactionary it is. SJW's are an awful lot like the people they hate.

I had forgot about Pogo. God am I getting old! Even Peanuts had their political comments.

Walt was one of the few people that had the guts to stand up to McCarthy and challenge him.
