WHO ARE YOU, REALLY?
XIII is a remake of the cult first-person action game that was initially released in 2003. You play as “XIII”, a man without an identity, in a solo campaign with numerous twists and turns. Inspired by the eponymous graphic novel, the game features a completely reinvented and unique cel-shading design. In XIII, players can also take part in fierce multi-player fights.The country remains in a state of shock following the assassination of President Sheridan. You wake up, wounded and with amnesia, on a deserted beach on the east coast. The only clues as to your identity are a tattoo of the number XIII near your collarbone and a locker key. Even though your memory is failing, you discover that you have the reflexes of a highly trained professional fighter. You set off in search of your past, discovering that you played a role in the murder of the President of the United States of America, and revealing the most astounding conspiracy ever hatched in the country's history.

Solid 4
Classical shooter in best sense. Good action, well executed visuals and reasonable length make this a great value with added bonus if you grew up on shooters like this. You wont find anything revolutionary here, just good weekend fun. There were few anoying parts where I had to go stealth, but too few and far between to be really frustrating. Money well spent.

Fix the game
I first got this game on the playstation 2 and I got it again on PC. I'd heard bad things about the remaster; but because it was only $2, I thought I'd give it a shot. It's pretty much the same thing as the ps2 version, except that the graphics have been upscaled and some have been redrawn. There is also now; controller support, which is not on the PC version. There are trophies and there is also a multiplayer, which I'm sure almost nobody plays. The dumbest (and you'll pardon me) fucking thing about this game, is the stupid partner A.I. It is playable, but don't count on your buddy to back you up. I'm not sure if this was due to bad QA testing or just lazy programming; but it can ruin the whole game. The worst of them is Carrington-he's a general with a gun, who does absolutely jack shit. I actually watched on a few occasions, the enemies shooting at him and he does NOTHING--he just stands there, until he's dead. I'd say it was a bug: but I think it's just bad programming.. Not a terrible "remake" but I'm glad I only paid a buck.

Kinda fun
Game play really fun and ez to learn, the only minus i have for this game has to be that some times enemys spot you wayyy to easy. And some times the hit boxes just are bit wierd, but i have to say other whise it feels fresh to play this compare to allot of games. Also the style remindes me of early borderlands graph that looks fun. so if you like a fun time ez game play and short and fun story go for it you have nothing to losse.

Not bad, not good.
The older version was better, but this fine remake. Not bad, but too easy, and had some misson bug.
