Well... not bad, but could be better
It is really like the old UFO series but its graphics is rather poor, most of the roles in squad inventory are useless and you cannot delete them (at least I did not find how to do it), air battles finish quite different ways if you fight yourself and if you ask computer to calculate oucome (try to kill light scout with two MiGs for example, etc. So, there are many things to improve.

Ugliest remake ever
It's a carbon-copy of the original UFO, except with high-res art, but nothing really convinces. Honestly, I'd rather play the original.

X-COM on steriods
I kicked into this game and own it on Steam. This game has all the good traits of the original, while buffing out all the annoying flaws - in balance and gameplay - as well as adding significant improvements to the Geoscape and a complete reworked intercept mechanic. It is easily the equal of Enemy Unknown and easily superior to the original X-COM.

Just buy X-Com instead. Like it get what they're trying to do, and they have some good ideas, but the presentation is dog. The controls are basically unplayable.
