Earth is in danger
this one of the best versions for xcom franchise. Better than XCOM 2, 2016years. there is little customization of characters. For example, you were given a Japanese, then you will play for the Japanese))) You will perceive him as a person. In xcom2, you can change the nation, because of what the perception of the character changes. You treat him not as your hope, but as a toy that can be changed. I think many people understood what I mean. This part is more hardcore, which is cool. Besides, there are no missions over time, where you need to have time to complete killing aliens before a certain number of moves. more precisely they are, but they are few))) I advise everyone this game. Turn on Iron Man mode. And go defend our planet ! P.S. Special thanks to GOGteam for release. I hope you add the Linux version.

False Advertising, Real Gameplay
Actually, the enemy is aliens. You find that out in the opening cutscene. They're not unknown at all. Rated 4.9/5 for being a perfect game with tons of replayability, but false advertising in the title.

Good game, but waaaay to short.
I had hoped for much more tech and far more missions. But I liked the game very much once I got used to how different it was from the originals.... I also sorta expected the originals to be include: Enemy Unknown (complete pack) without the original Enemy Unknown.... What???

I can finally uninstall Steam
I purchased this game on Steam because it was literally unavailable legitimately from any other source. I'm so happy to find out that it's now on GOG, because I can get rid of Steam from my rig. This game has a great mix of both tactical and strategic considerations, and the story's not too shabby. I like that it revitalized the genre with its melding of cover-based shooting gameplay with tactical squad-based combat. Definitely a worthwhile purchase.
