Worms Forts: Under Siege! puts you in command of a team of up to four fort-dwelling worms. The game is set wacky 3-D cartoon environments, and you must command your worm garrison to quickly construct defenses to maximize your strategic advantage. Direct your worms to expand your castle and seize valuable resources. Have them build weapons of mass destruction to destroy your opponents' fortifications. Test yourself against the single-player game by battling through the 20 missions, and then lay siege against your friends via hotseat, LAN, or FortNet multiplayer! Now who’s king of the castle? Imagine Worms 3D except with less freedom, no destructible environments and a very basic fort building system (if I can even call it that). That's basically what this is. It's still a decent Worms game at it's core, with an medieval twist to it. With what they're charging for it nowadays it's hard not to recommend, especially since you can't get it anywhere else at the time of writing this review.
This game introduces some new elements in the Worms universe. You can now build a fort with various towers, cannons, walls and you have to destroy the enemy fort. It's a nice twist on the classic formula.
I would say that from the three-dimensional worms games, this one is the best. I had loads of fun playing this with my dad in multi-player.
It's probably not as good as the old 2D versions of worms (Worms World Party or Worms Armageddon) but it's still incredibly fun. Thoroughly recommend it if you have a buddy to play with.
It's so hard to move a worm, and everything is SO slow. It's really hard to target, and get into a position where I can just play the game. This version was a great idea, but it was poorly, if cutely, executed.
This is an amazing game, i spent thousands of hours playing it on XBOX and i can't believe they are selling it again. Take into account it is an old game, and there might be some bugs, but the gameplay is solid and crazy fun! And for that price you must give it a try.
