Team 17 Shovelware...
I was personally never a fan of 3D Worms and this was pretty much the beginning of the end for Team 17's credibility as a developer. They churned out far too many 3D Worms games that added or changed far too little for the sake of cashing in on the Worms name.

Still waiting...
...For GOG to release Worms Armageddon, which is the peak of the series, then all repeating itself with less and less options and fun. Trying to push 3D into a game with mechanics so well suited to 2D gameplay, is just making it clumsy and too demanding to be fun.

The worst worms game ever
For me that game is just too complicated. Idea of building ruins everything and makes you irritated. Because of its complexity, players gets bored.

Did they ever fix this?
Had this for PS2 many many moons ago. I remember returning the game because I was sorely disappointed in it. If I can recall the God/Flood scenes took for frickin' ever and you couldn't skip past them and (this is the bit I'm foggy about) some games would never end because you could not get to the last enemy worm. Neutral vote from me for now until someone can confirm the PC version to be a massive improvement.
