Fun to play
W3D was one of the first games which I was playing back then on PC and I can still remember some levels. More then 3 decades after, I have spent great time with successor of this fantastic game. New Order will possibly never be that well known as W3D, but still I would rate this game very high and even in my personal top 10 (speaking about FPS game). Nice story, great level design and perfect combat. I was even enjoing "stealth" elements. Pretty well balanced difficulty (sometimes bit unforgiving) with some pretty epic battles. Luckily game designers were able to avoid backtracking, that game can smoothly follow the story. Speaking about some cons. Weapon switching and specially changing the weapon mode could be done better and during intense fights I was sometimes doing unintentional changes. In addition to this also "run and jump" sequences often ended up for me with restart from last checkpoint...;-)
