10 years later still fun to play!
Version played: 1.0.0.2 & 1.0.0.2 hotfix (both 4 years old at the time of writting this) PC Used: R5 5600x / GTX 1070 / Win 10 Pro - Build 19045 I played very little of Wolfenstein 3D back then so I never got invested in the series, New Order was the second wolfenstein game I ever played and compared to W3D it was obviously a huge step up. It has quite the wild story with great gunplay and enemies to go along with it, and lets not forget the amazing OST and voice acting! Coming back to it all these years and I still enjoy what it has to offer, though I now find the plot a little rushed at times and/or poorly written in some areas. The GOG version is very solid aside from one issue. For some reason the newest "hotfix" version buggered up the GOG Galaxy achievements so you dont earn them unless you play the non hotfix version, no loss if you play the first version so thats an easy fix (make sure you dont create a save on the new version otherwise you'll have to delete it for achievements to work even if you download the older version after). There is one issue that cant be fixed which even affects the steam version, the game engines texture loading weirdness where you see items/textures load in on the sides of your screen when turning. Overall it's a great game that is challenging but rewarding when you catch on to what weapons are efficient against whatever enemies you see. 8.5/10
