Pro:
- works smoothly
Con:
- the quit large map does not indicate what rooms you have visited
- refilling the F-key supergun is very-very problematic (you have to defeat a bunch of enemies, not every respawn respawns the same amount of enemies, it doesn't have a significant advantage etc.)
- there's not much difference between the respawns.. And most importantly your respawn-skill does not help you with the fight you lost (aka. the bosses).
- even the first boss takes FOREVER
- the boss-room-design is a joke. Not enough the boss is a bullethell damage-sponge, there's also no extra armor or healing in the room
- the ammo-stocks do not respawn (neither the armor-charges). Given how the checkpoint works, this is nonsense.
- with the respawns (even using the ability) you do not gain armor, neither ammo, so though luck.
- with every respawn the cash (skeletons) actualy respawn. Not sure how useful it is, not sure under what conditions the items/skills unlock.
- if you pick up 2 special weapon, you can only use the latest. If that's not a weapon you want - though luck, the other weapon does not respawn, neither can you set it as your special weapon.
