Best Hunting Game Since DH2005, a bullet cam would indeed be appreciated. Herd mechanics are interesting. PATIENCE IS A VERTUE!!!

Way Of The Walker
Way Of The Hunter's a fantastic walking simulator; it's not so good as a hunting game: It's difficult and fussy; unless one loves the game's screwed-up technicalities, it probably will not be enjoyable. I admit my experience is with older titles; so far as graphics Way Of The Hunter rules over them, if this was all to consider. But walking for miles, and little or no wildlife and confusing first missions segment, ruined it for me. One also has no idea to taxidermy or sell to complete objectives; couldn't I just bag the prey please, and get credit for this? This third option would help. Firearms and ammo are also an issue; I'm still early in the game, but the first gun you win is a variation of what you already have: No .22; yet every hunter I know begins with one, but I'm soon hunting birds as the game demands with a gage that turns them to sludge at medium and close range. Long range, a bird is not seen even with a scope supplied; maybe prey would be useful then, but I haven't been able to hit one at such distance. I'm also a good shot virtually (and in real life, though it has been years), yet I have hit prey fatally that just blink and walk or run away. Others at reddit have mentioned this often happens too in the game. And no interesting prey so far; no big game -- nothing big that fights back: although I WAS gored by a small frightened deer, bitten more than once by one angry badger; no knife for close-range protection! Lol. This had me laughing, but more like hiking than hunting: so I play to walk not hunt -- but this isn't what a hunting game is for. The game runs great otherwise, and no graphics issues like some reported: rtx cards suck, is where most of those reports are from. I'm running this very smoothly on an i5_3470, with 16gb memory and my 4gb nvgtx 1050 display. I wish it played as well as it looks and walks; three stars for this reason. I would add a half-star if I could too, actually, as I do still try to play this :-)

Good mechanics, bad graphics,performance
I really want to like this game because the mechanics seem more realistic than COTW but the game unfortunately has very grainy graphics and bad performance. COTW is the better looking and performing game. I think WotH renders at 70% of native resolution, and upscales it with TAA. Even with this band-aid solution, the performance is still bad. WotH seems to have better gameplay mechanics though, wish the devs would sort out the technical problems.
