Fear the wolves. They are cold, they are hungry - and they will stop at nothing to survive…
Ragnarok. Legend has it that when the coldest winter descends, the Jotan will return to take their vengeance against the Gods of Asgard. The world is on the road to perdition and the fate of Midgard hangs in the balance. But when the Fire and Frost Giants begin to merge their armies, they encounter the clan of the Ulfung – the Wolves of Midgard. Bloody, but unbowed following the destruction of their village, this notorious band of ostracized Viking warriors are determined to seize their destiny and save the world. As clan chief, you must save Midgard from complete annihilation, and spearhead the charge to vanquish the fiendish creatures of the Fimbulwinter.

Accidentaly pressed "New game" instead of "Continue" and all my progress (about 75% story completed) was reset... Yep, no warning, no confirmation required... just reset.
Despite the game still has some minor bugs, it's good: Interesting story, authentic leveling system...
Worth playing.
What more can I say about it? Completing the raids fully, the bosses, the engraving and skill system, the graphics and voice-acting, and most importantly the combat, are all well-done and the game becomes quite addictive, starting around level 7-8.
The game starts slow, but give it some time and it really shines. I don't really understand the negative reviews, the game runs flawlessly for me as well. I didn't pay much attention to the convoluted story, but may in the future with another build, but the objectives and pacing are very wel done.
So far (still quite in the beggining of the game, planning to update review with proceeding time) the game it self is quite good and enjoyable. I realy like the action phases and the controller support is flawless (at least in case of XBox360 controller).
The only think I really hate are missing cloud saves (and I think it's really shame that game like this doesn't have this feature), so you can't play with the same character on different machines.
Played only the bow style on easy, your mileage may vary.
A really good game if you are into ARPGs and only have an hour gaming time per day.
+ has exactly the right amount of exploration, chest hunting, looting and action
+ nice graphics
+ maps have a good size, multiple checkpoints per map store your progress even if you exit the game
+ the roll mechanism to dodge attacks works really well
+ the voice work (at least in English) is very good
+ the crafting is exactly right, not too much, not too little
+ exposure mechanics are a welcome addition to the gameplay
- as of June 2019 at least one of the achievements still does not trigger ("Blessings of Aesir")
- there is at least one place where the developers forgot to make a wall destroyable by arrows, fortunately any character can equip and use any weapons at any time so I used a melee weapon to destroy it
- the controls are a mixed bag, for a ranged character they function very well after the first hour or so, but still, because the left mouse button controls both movement and attacks, the character sometimes locks on and starts shooting things on the targeted location instead of going there
