The Lasting Impact of Venba
Playing Venba was such a moving experience for me, and the ending truly touched me in a way I wasn’t expecting. The story builds so beautifully around family, culture, and love, and by the time it reached the conclusion, I felt such a deep sense of connection to Venba’s journey. The way the game ties food to memory and emotion made every dish feel like a piece of her heart, and seeing it all come full circle at the end left me both teary and comforted. It reminded me of the sacrifices parents make, the importance of holding onto our roots, and how love quietly lingers even when words aren’t spoken. It’s rare for a game to leave me reflecting so much after the credits roll, but Venba did just that.

I loved it!
I'm Cambodian American, but I found it very sad yet relatable. It also makes me want to eat Indian food and I can see myself following the recipes myself one day! Beautiful game!!

Beautiful Game
A beautifully written tale of a unique experience in life. Love the style. Love the traditional recipes plus they give you the literal recipes to make. Made me ugly cry. Just 10/10.
