A Tender Story Cooked to Perfection
Venba is a heartfelt narrative about a Tamil mother preserving culture through food. The art is gorgeous, the music deeply rooted in heritage, and the cooking puzzles are fun yet emotional. A short but powerful game that delivers soul and story in every bite. Highly recommended!

Great STORY... Not so much of a game
This is a really touching story that makes you want to know what is happening with the characters. However, the actual "play" part of the game is very much "click whatever is now highlighted" and doesn't give any opportunity for skill or thought, or really even any ability to make choices that aren't on a rail. I really wanted to give it 5 stars as the story had all the emotions and I was there with the characters, but the lack of any actual gameplay means that I really can't.

Fun Puzzles, meaningful plot, short. The recipes are very accurate, even the nuances around the techniques were authentic. I'm confident the dev is from Tamil Nadu (South Indian state). Especially cz they portrayed Asafoetida (an ingredient) in this tiny white printed container...its a reference to a south indian brand, that someone from South India would swear by! I doubt most Indians are even familiar with that brand. Cool detail. Also it was so refreshing to see Indian cuisine rep-ed by dishes NOT North Indian restro food lol. I've never been to Tamil Nadu, but I'm eager to, some day!
