One of the better action RPG's
Torchlight 2 is much like other acclaimed games in the genre, such as Diablo 3 - easy to get into and very polished, yet it's also very easy to stop playing once you've killed yet another mob and seen yet another shower of loot. It's a fine game judged by the standards of the genre so it's worth playing if you're into games of this type, but there's nothing special about it apart from the franchise's noteworthy addition of a pet that you can send to town to sell loot - a feature that really should've been picked up by other games in the genre by now as it just makes inventory management much less of a hassle.
